AOC Agon AG271QX

AOC's 27-inch Agon AG271QX monitor supports AMD's FreeSync technology and has a speedy 144Hz refresh rate. Despite skewed greens and narrow viewing angles, it delivers solid gaming performance.

Very good gaming performance. Speedy refresh rate. AMD FreeSync enabled.

Slightly skewed greens. Narrow viewing angles. Tinny speakers.

Gamers will appreciate the AOC Agon AG271QX's smooth motion-handling capabilities, strong gaming performance, and numerous features, which include a 144Hz refresh rate, a speedy pixel response, a fully adjustable stand, and numerous video inputs and...

AOC AGON AG271QX review: Great for gaming, but also everything else

An impressive 2,560 x 1,440 gaming monitor, with a 144Hz refresh rate and good all-round performance

Impressive resolution and refresh rate at its price point ; Low perceived input lag ; Build quality and design

Washed-out colours ; Overshoot ghosting with Overdrive enabled ; Viewing angles

What’s impressive about this monitor is that it’s strong across the board. It’s not only a great gaming screen but also a superb all-rounder, with accurate colours, fantastic build quality and design, plus a wide range of inputs and outputs. That makes...

AOC AG271QX Agon 27-inch FreeSync Monitor Review

Like Nissan with Infiniti and Toyota with Lexus, premium branding is a great way to build products that offer a little more than the rank and file. Asus has its Republic of Gamers line, and Acer offers the Predator series. Now AOC has jumped on the...

30-144Hz FreeSync range ; Ghost-free overdrive ; Bright picture ; Great color after calibration ; Uniformity ; Panel response ; Low input lag ; Build quality

Out-of-box accuracy ; Viewing angles

The AG271QX requires some tweaking for best results, but once you change a few settings, you’ll get to enjoy a nice image with some of the best motion processing we’ve seen from any FreeSync monitor currently available. A large operating range means it...

- Very simple to attach the mounting arm. - Lovely picture quality. - Very smooth height and turn adjustability.

- No manual (maybe one on the disk. I don't have a CD drive on my PC) - Slightly on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it.

AOC Agon AG271QX

Once calibration is done, the screen quality is amazing, easily on par with my IPS displays, which is quite impressive for a TFT screen.

Did need a fair bit of calibration out of the box. was very light initially but the picture options do allow a lot of freedom to get it just right. Screws to attach stand were missing from the box.

AOC Agon AG271QX

Great quality when sat alongside my old screen, everything is crisp and very satisfying. Not had a chance to play around with all the settings yet but looking forward to it.

took a lot of screwing to ensure the bracket was on tight.

Going from a 1080p 24inch to this was a massive jump. Playing most games on 1440p with high settings on my 4GB RX480.

High quality image, good build quality for most of it.

Remote build feels cheap, speakers aren't all that great.

AOC Agon AG271QX

- 1440p looks great in games (nice and crisp image quality) and you get a lot more real estate for multitasking. - no light bleed/glow nonsense as seen in IPS panels (to me, those issues are unacceptable. I didn't want to play ''the panel lottery'' and...

No bad points really, only observations: - I found that I manually scale up all websites, especially when I want to read any text. My eyes are not getting any better and going from 27'' 1080p makes everything on 1440p screen quite small. I'm gonna have...
