The ASUS MB168B+ USB 3.0 monitor is light and offers a sharp 1080p image for workers on the go.

Sharp 1080p resolution; Lightweight; Strong performance; Mac and USB 2 compatible

Bundled USB cable too short comes loose; Sometimes requires two USB ports

The ASUS MB168B+ is the best portable monitor we've used, offering speedy performance, accurate color and plenty of screen real estate in a lightweight, portable package. Though other monitors such as the $129 AOC e1659fwu are less expensive, the $199...

Asus MB168B+ review

USB monitors such as the Asus MB168B+ haven't, up to now, had the best of times. Generally saddled with poor resolutions, and lacking the hardware required to do justice to smooth movies and fast-changing games, they've remained niche products. That's...

The MB168B+ does have some of the limitations of TN panels, but it has virtually none of those associated with USB screens. It keeps the ease of setup, but adds fantastic 1080p support, and hardware that can make a superbly smooth job of HD movies, and...

Hands on: Asus MB168B+ portable monitor

Asus is not the first one out with a portable monitor - Toshiba had one two years ago - but the Taiwanese manufacturer's MB168B+ slim screen is surely one of the smartest and most practical. Very light at just 800 grams and conveniently powered by a...

Great Screen

I'd recommend this screen. It's my first portable screen, I can't compare it to cheaper alternatives, but because my job takes me around the city, it's useful to have this screen everywhere I go. I don't know what I'd do without it at this point.

The screen has great color, a good refresh rate for work type activities (I haven't tried using it for gaming). Also has functionality that allows you to view it both width or length wise, similar to a smartphone, and is far more useful than I thought...

The stand, that also doubles as a case, is very large and requires a lot of space to set up. Maybe not ideal for a screen that is meant for travelers

Awesome-Great Supplier

This is probably one of the best tech items I have ever bought. It is so nice to be able to slip this monitor into my carry case that also has my MacBook Pro in it. I was lugging around my HP 25" monitor when going out of town and working in a hotel...

Portable. Easy to set up. Great picture quality. Carrying Case is awesome and also serves as the stand which works just fine. Supplier was lighting fast. I think it was one day delivery and I didn't even pay for that

If I had to think of just one, it would be a longer cord. But come on, I can go buy one if it comes down to that

- make sure to download the latest displaylink driver. otherwise, windows 8.1. 64bit doesn't detect the monitor most of the time. - hopefully one day, it will be as thin as the zenbook laptop's screen. - screen could be a tad brighter to match...

Does what its supposed to - ads screen space to my zenbook. Great resolution ; Gyro sensor is a nice touch - when you flip the monitor - the move is detected automatically

none. monitor performs exactly as expected

Works like a champ

The unit is excellent ; Super thin and light and has full HD capabilities ; Almost plug and play for me. I connected the monitor and my computer (Windows 8.1) immediately started searching for drivers. It found and installed drivers, automatically...

I only got this earlier today, so I haven't discovered too many cons with the actual operation (if they exist); but there are other cons ; Inconsistent stock and pricing. It was sold out and I had been shopping for this for about a month, before it...

A bit tired of Mac users complaining about compatibility issues with a companies that design for the PC market. It would be like me freaking out that after I bootcamped my MacBook and boot directly to windows on my Mac that I can no longer daisy-chain...

Light ; 1920x1080 [don't even bother with non + version in my opinion ; Nice case included ; Works well in Win8 & Win7

Has been cheaper in the past [picked mine up for $140 ; Doesn't clean itself

Great monitor with Surface Pro 1

Another reviewer has commented that the monitor doesn't work without external power with their Surface Pro 2, but I've been using it with a Surface Pro 1 for approximately a year and have had no problems when it's just running on the battery. I'm...

Lightweight. Good color. Works with Surface Pro 1, with or without external power. Now that I've been using it, I can't live without it. A Surface Pro tablet, attachable keyboard, bluetooth mouse, and this USB monitor creates a total on-the-road...

The color isn't quite as good as on a high-resolution laptop, but it's close enough. There is a bit of lag time, which is understandable given the USB 3.0 connection, so it may discourage its use for gaming, but for coding and word processing, it works...
