Asus MT276HE

The Asus MT276HE is a good deal for gamers or anyone seeking a solid, big-screen entertainment display. It can't match the feature set and performance of the Dell U2711, but at $350, it's nearly half the price. As with any affordable monitor, there are...

Affordable. Great color quality. Fast pixel response

Narrow vertical viewing angle. Tilt-only stand. Limited port selection

The Asus MT276HE is a solid 27-inch gaming/entertainment display offering a quick pixel response, dual HDMI inputs, and good color reproduction. It's missing a few ports, and its stand isn't very flexible.

meh

Asus support was useless, rude, uneducated and argued with me. Asus should just stick to making motherboards. This experience has lowered my opinion of Asus. I thought I was going to get a top of the line 27" monitor and I feel like I got conned. I...

Big screen, On sale for $199

WAY TOO BIG IN SIZE AND HEAVY, STAND IS NOT STABLE AND WOBBLY. Speakers are bad quality unless you use HDMI audio and they still sound bad. NO HDMI TO HDMI cable in box!!! Have to over scale to get full 1080p display and it looks magnified. Viewing...

Great after overscale

199 27" monitor! Looks great

I had a black border in 1080p mode, and had to overscale the monitor. It's not overly intuitive to do, so that was annoying... ASUS customer support was worthless. They told me the monitor was broken and to send it back. I read posts on here first,...

My Big 27In

I love it! and think I got the last one... sorry for you all!

Beautiful wide screen with plenty of control over the settings. Remote is quite helpfull as well, and as always New Egg is awsome for their product delivery, documentation and customer service ; Sound is good too but am running a Logitec 5.1 w/sub at...

If i had to pick one, it would be it is a bit tedious when everything is plugged in upon startup for input select, it was slightly challenging the get the OSD to come up and change inputs to HDMI1.Mostly it was Op error since I wasnt familiar with it,...

Outstanding value for $199

Haven't seen a deal close to this for $199 after rebate. Sold out quick when that was going, glad I managed to get one ; I also snagged the 2-year extended warranty which was on sale for $29.99 because from my experience LCDs die or have problems...

Huge bargain for huge screen

I read a lot of people had issues with dead pixels and hoped mine didn't have any, I noticed a couple grey pixels on white background (looked almost like dust) and after a few minutes the pixels came unstuck. IIRC if they are black then they are dead....

Price, screen size, & bright

The weird flower looking design on bottom, built in speakers are cheap, but I have better speakers and headset so not a big deal

Just got it

Great price and man is this thing big. Crystal clear not dead pixels. Did I mention this thing is big. I use to for flying online and it brings the PMDG 737NGX cockpit to a whole new level

It didn't come with a HDCP compatible cord. I was able to get one for less then 5 bucks with free shipping from another site. No other cons as of now

Older Macs beware

Good resolution, good viewing angles, AWESOME price

There is a horizontal scan flicker while this is used as a 2nd monitor on my mid-2008 iMac w/ Radeon 2600 PRO GPU. I noticed someone else had a similar problem. The graphics card should be able to handle a screen of this size & resolution, but when the...

Good value for gaming

I bought this monitor because my monitor for my machine that I use to watch my media collection was water damaged in a plumbing incident. I hooked this one to my gaming machine and moved my Dell 27" IPS (6 ms) to my media machine where its beautiful...

Good value for the sale price. It was a good purchase, and cons not withstanding, I don't regret it. I knew the weaknesses of TN monitors when I made the purchase

Mine included a VGA and an HDMI to DVI cable but no DVI to DVI which is a bit baffling to me because DVI to DVI seems to be the "standard" for LCD monitors. My monitor takes a bit longer than I'm used to to switch "on". For instance when I log off...

Great gaming monitor

Using this monitor for gaming, none of the cons affect me and using this monitor is great. I bought this display when there was a rebate from Asus, didn't have any problems getting it, and it arrived very quickly using the rush processing (cuts $3 off...

Bought this to replace a 32" 1080p TV display I was using as a monitor, mostly because of input lag on the TV making gaming far less than ideal ; Very happy with the low input lag and response time of the monitor. Wasn't expecting the TN panel to look...

It's not 1920x1200, but I'm used to a 1080p display so that doesn't really bother me ; It's not IPS, but the colors are great for a TN panel and more than adequate for the average user ; The viewing angles aren't very good, but it's not something that...
