Asus PA248Q

Last year's Asus PA246Q monitor earned our Editors' Choice award for its affordable price, robust feature set, and excellent IPS color reproduction, among other things. Its successor, the Asus PA248Q , is also an affordable 24-inch IPS monitor, and...

Great color quality. Flexible stand. Wide viewing angles. Lots of ports

No auto rotate feature. Grayscale performance could be better

The Asus PA248Q is a reasonably priced 24-inch IPS monitor offering solid performance and a generous feature set. Its grayscale performance is good but not great, though.

Asus PA248Q

The Asus PA248Q doesn't quite match last year's PA246Q in performance, but that's to be expected. The PA246Q sported a more expensive panel capable of displaying more colors.

The Asus PA248Q offers very good performance, useful OSD features, ample ergonomic options, and an impressive assortment of connections. Its sub-$350 price is icing on an already tasty cake.

The monitor can't duplicate the high color performance of its predecessor.

The Asus PA248Q is a low-priced IPS monitor that doesn't skimp on performance or features.

ASUS PA248Q ProArt Monitor Review

Feature packed for professionals and enthusiasts.

Great colors; Multiple connectivity options; Four USB 3.0 ports; Easy swivel and adjustments; In-depth color tweaking; Easy menu navigation

Color reproduction could be better; aggressive hues in other preset modes

It’s easy to recommend the ASUS PA248Q for its great color reproduction, connectivity options, and incredible viewing angles (at 178°). It may need some extra bit of tweaking to get the truest possible color reproduction, but for the price though, and...

Asus PA248Q review

Controls are provided in the form of physical buttons rather than the fiddly touch-sensitive ones we're used to seeing on some consumer monitors. It also includes a five-way cursor control to help navigate the menus more easily. An unusual QuickFit...

The Asus PA248Q is aimed at serious graphics professionals and enthusiasts and delivers great performance and plenty of features for the money. It offers more screen space than a typical 24inch display and offers a full set of adjustments and comes...

Asus PA248Q ProArt Monitor Review

Today we are looking at the latest high end 24 inch monitor from Asus, the PA248Q. This monitor features a pre-calibrated LED backlit IPS panel with 1920×1200 resolution. The PA248Q ProArt display is said to guarantee industry leading colour accuracy...

Colour rendition is superb ; panel has a high level of consistency ; black definition and white purity are close to class leading ; perfect for a designer on a budget ; USB 3.0 hub ; built like a tank ; stand has tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustments

No HDMI cable supplied ; Not the slimmest panel on the market

Kitguru says: A quality panel, built to produce clear, crisp highly saturated images at a competitive price point.

Great Monitor

I bought two of these to replace my old Acer AL1917s that I had flanking my three monitor setup (after 10 years, one of them finally bit the dust). The colors are great (especially compared to the old monitors). White is actually white. I use these for...

16x10 aspect ratio give an extra 120 pixels of height (or width) ; Stand is sturdy and adjustable in every way possible ; nice matte finish cuts down on glare/reflections from the window in my office ; display is very bright, had to turn that down most...

These aren't a knock on the monitors themselves, just on my choice to use them ; I lost 80 pixels of width to my old 1280x1024 monitors (with these in portrait mode) ; in portrait mode, these things are tall enough I thought I might get neck strain...

Great for gaming and all around

I've had this monitor for over a year now and don't regret anything about buying it. The color, clarity, and sharpness are great. I use it for general use, some gaming- no ghosting, and work with photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. The 4 USB 3.0's on...

Perfect size ; Great color ; No ghosting in games (BF4)

Can't think of any.. not even that expensive
