Asus ProArt PA279Q review

This translates to a dot pitch of 0.233 mm, and a pixels-per-inch density of 108 ppi. The listed response time of 6 ms suggests it should be fine for gamers as well as graphics professionals.

Although 24-inch 1080p IPS displays are now available under £200, good-quality 27-inch consumer panels are still a fair bit more expensive. Therefore there's not too much of a price difference between those screens and the Asus PA279Q. For the extra...

I love Photoshop on this monitor

I'm a Photographer and needed a bigger monitor as I'm getting older and my eyes are going. This was the best money I've spent all year. The color is fantastic and there is so much screen space that I was able to dump my two monitor set up for Photoshop...

Color out of the box. Amount of space to use photoshop with one screen. Seems to be of high quality build and materials ; I was able to get rid of some old external speakers since they're built in to the monitor. They don't sound bad

it had two small scratches on the base. I know this won't affect the quality of the displayed image, but maybe Asus will read the review and do something to make sure this doesn't happen to others

Good Monitor, but not sure fully supported by Mac

I have went round and round with Apple and Asus to figure out what is going on with my new Mac Pro cylinder and this monitor. All I want to do is access the calibrated Adobe RGB and sRGB modes which are greyed out. I am using miniDP/Thunderbolt to...

Serious upgrade over 24" 1080p

Purchased as a general use display, not a professional graphics display (I'm enthusiast at best in that dept.) All of the pros listed above are really high-class for a general use display, though by themselves don't really justify the ~$300 premium...

Size, options and features, fantastic color and color controls

Very bright out of the box - fried my eyeballs - like every other display I've purchased in the last few years (4 or 5 or so). My home and office are generally low-light... See below for other thoughts on this (spoiler: it's fine after adjustments)

Asus PA279Q

No dead pixels! uniform screen, bright, clear, crisp text, colours are very vivid, wide view angle and does not strain eyes even after long usage. OSD navigation is good using the little mouse button

Crashes when changing inputs if audio is on, requires power cycle. Only one DisplayPort input and front buttons are a little fiddly especially if you change inputs regularly. Also powers down way too quickly, i.e. during boot up or input cycling (might...
