ASCR and Splendid modes. The Standard mode is the only one with acceptable colors but will not let you disable ASCR which causes extra eye strain through use. The other modes change the saturation and gamma in ways you cannot correct using the menu....

I purchased this monitor several months ago based on the generally good reviews and I can say that for what it is, it is a generally good solid monitor and has met most of my expectatations

This monitor is awesome! the colors are crisp and bright. the controls are OK but then again, who buys a monitor to use the controls. having VGA, dvi and hdmi inputs gives you the flexibility to use this monitor for more than a PC monitor. i had this...

lcd monitors in this size class never really had good speakers. these are no exception. they dont have awesome sound but they dont sound like 15" lcd monitor speakers either

Excellent resolution, sharpness, clarity. Contrast is great compared to my older LCD

Not terribly bright, I have mine right next to a sunrise facing window and in the morning somethings can be difficult to read. Nothing that can't be fixed by shutting the blinds of course

I love this monitor best outta the 3 monitors I just bought. which was all different brand. I bought a 22" LG 22" Acer and this wonderful 24". Though I didn't buy this from Newegg, this monitor is great ; I test out the HDMI with my PS3 and it works...

one egg off because it came with a dead pixel, going to return it for a new one in a few mins. I know I didn't buy it off Newegg but still I'm looking at it as a general review. Of course Newegg provides great service

it's large with a high resolution, decent contrast ratio and great response time. spec-wise its fantastic for the price

the brightness is very spotty and uneven at best which is extremely distracting. If you game, watch movies, view images or care about the quality of the image you will be constantly annoyed. I've done several calibration attempts to try to resolve this...
