Asus VE248Q 24-Inch LED Monitor

I bought 2 of this to compliment my existing Acer 24" which is very thin. This one has built in speakers so it's understandable, and it isn't a concern for me. However something had been bothering me for the longest time about those monitors.

My criteria when searching for a new monitor were:

have had the monitor for a few days now and it is like night and day compared to my old monitor. only real complaint so far is lack of dvi port but hey i knew that going in.

Colors represented by display are vibrant and picture is crystal clear. If you absolutely need a display with built-in speakers, you should probably look elsewhere. The sound provided by the speakers is extremely weak, so if you're using it near an A/C...

This is an awesome monitor. Perfect colors, no dead pixels, good looking, comes with DVI to VGA and DVI to HDMI cables. The warranty from ASUS is also pretty good. 5 stars!

From no angle can the entire screen be seen without distorted colors. If the top looks good, the bottom's screwed up and vice versa. It also came with a dead pixel, but I can probably thank UPS for that.

this is an excellent display, far better than my 11 year old dell 17inch lcd which cost about a thousand $'s back then. it is sharp, the colors are full and the darks are dark, no purple green hazing.

If you don't have a cable.

No dead pixels, great picture and a pretty good price what more could you want?(besides three 30 inch monitors) You won't regret buying this monitor.
