Great Monitor

I bought two of these one for me and one for the wife, one of them was DOA but newegg fast and response RMA fixe that problem within a week. Power button is still rather wonky on one of them but cant complain. To explain my CON, I use this primarily...

1080p Widescreen Monitor with a 2ms response time ; Decently cheap ; OSD is pretty simple to use ; Special viewing modes make whatever your doing look amazing

5 years strong!

I've had this monitor since 2010. I originally used this for my xbox 360, but since then I mainly use it for my computer. I also have used my ps4, ps3, and wii u on it. This was the perfect monitor to get at the time. The response time is probably the...

Price ; Size ; Matte Screen ; Color quality ; 3 inputs (VGA, DVI, HDMI) ; input lag is super low ; has speakers ; headphone jack is useful

starting to feel small ; speakers aren't the best around

Terrible

Other users seem to have similar problems so don't buy this piece of garbage monitor that will have dead pixels within a month of use...

None

There is a beautiful line of dead pixels on the side of the screen

I'm So sad it's not on sale anymore. I was planning on buying another one, but now I'll have to look for something else ;_;

Some of the cleanest Quality Picture I've ever seen ; Has all the ports and features I need or want ; Awesome price for how good it is

Stock speakers sometimes make a buzzing vibration noise if they're turned up above 60 ; It's not on sale anymore

Good Quality, Good Picture

Very good quality. I bought three of these simultaneously and everyone arrives working perfectly, with no dead pixels. 1920x1080 resolution is great, and they monitors even come with DVI cables

I didn't buy these for the speakers--didn't even realize they had them--and you shouldn't either. I'm tone deaf and even I can tell how bad they are. Music sounds like somebody shouting into a tin can in a closet

Nice monitor

Easy set up, great picture and perfect size for me

Can you believe no installation guide or any useful information came with the product. Only a two page RMA instruction guide. Had to hunt done information on the net. Come on Newegg and Asus don't spoil a deal with a 95 cent guide

ASUS VH226H

It's a fine monitor for the price and video quality is top notch, but look elsewhere for audio. I'm currently using 15-year-old Gateway speakers because they are easier to use and give me better sound quality than this monitor. If you don't care about...

Great picture (the most important thing, of course) ; With the discount and rebate available when I bought it, this was the cheapest HD monitor with speakers by about $50-$70 ; Thin, elegant, and oh so pretty

Sound quality is very poor ; The interface for changing the video options (not a big deal) and volume (a big deal) is difficult to use, especially while doing another task. There is NO ANALOG VOLUME CONTROL, just an on-screen menu system. Making even a...
