Great monitor for the price

I highly recommend this monitor at this price and with rebates available right now.

-Great picture (I didn't experience any of the dead pixel problems that some reviewers have noted) -Low price I also want to mention that all of the reviewers who have complained that the monitor won't wake up from sleep mode must be using the cheapest...

-I have to agree with all the complaints about the included stand, it does stink. Not sturdy at all. You're better off using a VESA mount stand if you have one.

Great deal for IPS monitor, but not without flaws.

- Would recommend at discount price, but ASUS firmware should be updated to allow analog audio input for any video input

- Inexpensive! - IPS quality

- No way to input audio via DVI connection (analog audio input ignored) - Build quality is pretty cheap, especially plastic door on back for cables

ZERO stars. Incompatible wakeup with HDMI-HDMI video from a COMPUTER

I have an Intel NUC, I have all the latest graphics drivers and BIOS updated and installed. Used a different monitor to setup computer and had the new monitor ready to go as a gift with the new Intel NUC (which only has HDMI output). Come to find out...

The package arrived with the seal broken. I don't know who, when or why. Perhaps at Newegg it was a quality control thing. But the box was clearly opened and items taken out and checked (the plastic protector screen for the monitor itself was missing)....

I love the monitor -- but there's dead pixels

I would have given this 4-5 stars, but due to the dead pixels on the screen I just don't see that happening. I'm not sure what I can do.

- Vibrant colors - I love the 1080p -- I can tell the difference from my old 720p monitor. - Easy to set up.

- I set it up, turned it on, and was greeted by a black splotch of pixels on the screen. I'm totally disappointed... - Stand is wobbly.

Great product, great price, easy to set up

Thanks Newegg for the price and fast shipping.

Great color and picture. Easy to use and has the added advantage of 2 HDMI ports so you can use one for your computer and one for a Roku box, or H.D. T.V. converter that has HDMI output.

Monitor's good, the company that makes it doesn't care to stand behind it though

I've you've never dealt with ASUS' RMA department, I hope you never have to. It's like a black hole into which your replies enter and they pretend you didn't or make you repeat yourself over and over. I guess the first hint to me they didn't stand...

I really like the thin bezel design, has a nice look to it in multiple monitor situations

Nothing much to say, for the price point nothing really to complain about. I suppose the issue I have with one could be related to design (more about it in other thoughts)

Great monitor so far!

- I would definitely recommend this purchase, but get yourself a stand along with it and intend to rely on other speakers for sound quality.
