but i have a screen saver loaded that comes on after 5 minutes of inactivity so i suspect that it comes on prior to the monitor going to 'sleep'. mine has no burned through pixels and excellent clarity and resolution, no distortion of video like i have...

ASUS Monitors

The monitor would go to sleep and not wake up. Only way to get back was to reboot computer. After much searching, this is a known issue with Asus.

Good monitor at a reasonable price

I'd still recommend this monitor, good display for a good price, just keep in mind the plug is very touchy.

The display is nice and bright without any glare, the presets are good and there's plenty of user customization available

I have to agree with the other reviewer, the plug is the one drawback on this monitor, it's very sensitive and the slightest touch cuts the power off
