The monitor would go to sleep and not wake up. Only way to get back was to reboot computer. After much searching, this is a known issue with Asus.

I'd still recommend this monitor, good display for a good price, just keep in mind the plug is very touchy.

This device is strictly VGA interface. Nothing else. Therefore, having bought a pig-in-a-poke, I'm returning it.

Unfortunately, the monitor is not compatible with an Apple. The connections are not comaptible. I made an error in ordering.
