Asus VS198D

bought this for my wife for her gaming computer.

when i turned it on it had a weird line on the mid right of the screen and when i turn it, it slightly goes away for like 10 minutes then i have to mess with it a bit.

I broke the screen of my ASUS laptop, the laptop still ran great I just could not see what was going on. This monitor was the best value I could find (price/quality) so I went ahead and ordered it without ever seeing it in person.

No HDMI port, which was indicated on the matrix in the description. If the product information is not correct, it is either a defect on the device or by the manufacturer. There is even no reference of HDMI in any documentation for the VS series.

The monitor replaced a 6 yr old Gateway monitor which just suddenly refused to sync -- died. I like most things about this monitor the biggest concern is the density of the text. There just doesn't seem to be the contrast the old monitor had and...

Nice color, very nice monitor. I found it to be a good value for what I paid for it. Connections exit to the rear at a 90 degree to the screen.

this monitor is well worth the bargain price, its sleek design and subtle button layout fits perfectly on a desk or in an office. Great for bussiness or pleasure.
