The Asus VS229H-P monitor brings IPS goodness to your desktop at a price that will fit any budget.

Very affordable for an IPS monitor. Great color and viewing angle performance. Good grayscale performance

Great cheap IPS monitors

Wish I had bought 3 of these sooner. Gaming is awesome on these in Eyefinity mode (running a pair of 7870s currently).

I bought 3 of these for a home office/Eyefinity set up. Zero dead pixels, and I've been pleasantly surprised at the panel quality for how cheap these are. 3 year warranty with free cross shipping is icing on the cake. There are several other cheap IPS...

The bezel is little thicker than I would like but its not that bad.

Factory presets might need adjustment to taste, but can be done easily. I do lots of reading on my computer, watch Anime, and play strategy games; so far, haven't notice any ghosting and pixel speed seems to be very good. This was one of my concerns as...

As an entry IPS, the quality for the price is amazing. Rich color, deep black, and very good contrast

Matte coating is slightly noticeable (specially on white-ish colors). Rather flimsy stand. BUT, none of them really matter to me or a deal-breaker (I don't do graphic works with it), hence the 5-egg rating
