ASUS VW225TL LCD monitor

ASUS' mid-range 22in LCD monitor handles motion adequately, despite having a comparatively slow 5ms response time.

Handles motion well, adjustable, HDCP compatibility

Poor viewing angles, backlight issues, some colour accuracy issues, poor contrast

If you're looking for a 22in LCD monitor with a reasonable price, it's worth checking out the ASUS VW225TL. There is nothing too extraordinary about this monitor, but it can definitely handle fast-paced motion in movies and games.

Very Nice

Very nice monitor. Major upgrade from my 17 inch flat screen CRT. Works flawlessly

Built in speakers or ak, only as a last resort, but are nice if you have limited space on desk for add on speakers

Great Value for $

Speakers not so much an issue for me because I still use my desktop speakers anyway.

Great value for he money. Large, bright display. Fits neatly on desk. Built in speakers free up even more desk space

Built in speakers a nice, but not good for listeing to music, gaming, movies etc

So far it's aces

Will buy another after I move to have matching 22'' monitors

22''s on the cheap ; Not one dead pixel ; Works like a charm ; Easy Menu ; Tilt adjustment ; Nice foot pads

No height adjustment ; Box cannot double as a moving box as it doesn't open from the top where the handle is like every other monitor box I have every gotten

Great monitor

The monitor is nothing short of desirable. Bright, conveniently designed, and big. Menu is rather easy to navigate. Built in speakers are a plus

NICE!

Comes with built in speakers which I don't use...but I'm fine with that because I can't see the speakers. I believe they are there because there is a jack and volume buttons but there is no bulky speaker bar on the front bottom or side anywhere so...

My monitors arrived this afternoon, just two days after placing the order. I immediately oppened them up and realized that they are HUGE! After clearing a spot on my desk, I removed my 2x15" monitors and setup my nice new dual 22" display. Awesome!...

I need a bigger desk now

Amazing Value

As a graphics arts professional, I have only used monitors with PVM or IPS panels from Samsung or Dell. However they cost 2-3 the price of a TN panel. I purchased this for my daughter and was pleasantly surprised to find that the key weakness of most...

1. Minimal off-axis color shift that plagues most TN panels ; 2. Excellent contrast, with decent sharpness and color ; 3. Highly usable resolution (font size) and 16:10 ratio
