BenQ XL2420T review

Possibly the best 3D monitor we've seen

Best TN panel yet ; Best stereoscopic 3D ; Superb OSD controls

Mediocre vertical viewing angles ; Nvidia 3D Vision pack isn't included

Is the BenQ XL2420T the first TN panel that really delivers? We think so. It produces super stereoscopic 3D image quality, too.

BenQ XL2420TE (144 Hz)

We have already reviewed the 120 Hz BenQ XL2420T model, so what's new here? Well, BenQ has decided to release a new version of the monitor, without changing the model name in Europe. It is a confusing strategy, but it offers some interesting updates in...

144/120Hz ; Low input lag ; Flicker-free panel ; Good ergonomic adjustment options

Out-of-box settings ; Viewing angles ; Black level

BenQ’s 144 Hz XL2420TE is the successor to the 120 Hz XL2420T, and even still carries the same model number in Europe. It looks exactly like the old 120 Hz version with an asynchronous base design and a matte black frame with touch buttons and red...

BenQ XL2420T

120 Hz panel, Low input lag, Ergonomic adjustability, No significant clouding

Color inaccuracy, Black level, Some overdrive trailing, Still some 3D crosstalk, Viewing angles

BenQ XL2420T is a gaming monitor and the follow-up to the previous XL2410T . This time BenQ has included a Remote Control unit for switching between color modes and XL2420T is also compatible with Nvidia 3D Vision 3. Unfortunately the Remote Control...

Best 144hz 1080 TN panel available

BenQ panels are definitley not for budget gaming, they are the best when it comes to fps gaming.

If you want the very best experience while gaming, you buy a BenQ TN panel

None, I've owned this panel since Dec 2013, have no intentions on replacing it anytime soon

Very Disappointed

Switching from HDMI to DVI makes all my icons disappear. I have both so I can game with 144hz and watch Blu Rays in HDMI mode. This is another 'bonus' the Benq has presented. BEWARE hdmi can only do 60hz. Soon I will put this monitor on craigslist and...

Magic hertz, see them <--- they are right there

Going from a beautiful Asus picture to this Benq was a huge step backward. I ran both displays side by side and the Asus had a better picture, but I kept the Benq for the higher refresh rate. Speaking of which, makes no difference to me (though I do...

BenQ XL2420TE

This TN panel is simply amazing ; 144hz ; 1ms ; Lightboost ; Motion-Blur Technology ; Nvidia 3-D Vision 2 ; Some of the richest colors I have ever seen on a 144hz TN panel ; This panel is now discontinued but I paid 269.00 for it over a year ago

Great Monitor!

This one is better than its ASUS competitor. Better colors, better, blacks. Movies play amazing on this thing. Fast games like CS:GO are even more amazing.

I will never go back to a 60Hz monitor again after playing games and watching movies with this. It is kind of depressing. I find myself disgusted with all other monitors as they are too junk to even look at

It had exactly one dead pixel off and to the bottom right after opening. It is totally ignorable and not a big deal

Great Monitor!

Although the picture quality is a bit low, this display makes up for it with it's 144Hz display mode! Definityl not something you should be using for HD movies or professional photo editing, but for gaming, its well worth the price tag! Another thing...

Going from a 60Hz to a 144Hz monitor is unbelievable. Games are very smooth if you can get high enough fps. If you are an avid gamer you WILL see a difference. This was a great purchase

The picture quality is noticeably less than that of, for example, a TV of the same size. There seems to be less color depth with this monitor
