BenQ BL3200PT Review: A 32-Inch AMVA Monitor At 2560x1440

The extra pixel density of a 27-inch monitor sporting a native 2560x1440 resolution can make small text difficult to read. BenQ solves the problem by adding five extra inches to its BL3200PT. Today we test this jumbo 32-inch AMVA-based panel in our lab.

BenQ BL3200PT

BenQ's latest is a big-screen office panel. Can it compete with strong rivals?

Great contrast, brightness and black levels ; Impressive input lag ; Good connectivity ; Reasonable speakers

Can’t match Samsung’s colour accuracy ; Heavy ; Some screen modes disappoint

The controller is a neat solution to the minimal button selection, but the BenQ’s control system isn’t as comprehensive or as consistent as the Samsung’s OSD.

This top-of-the-line 32-inch giant is a brilliant all-rounder which will suit more than just design professionals

The BenQ BL3200PT is one of the best monitors we've ever reviewed. Its design is subtle but stylish, and its screen quality is second to none. Its biggest showpiece is its price - £500 is great value for such a screen. It wins a Best Buy award.

BenQ BL3200PT 32" Professional Monitor Review

With the rising stars of 4K, G-SYNC, FreeSync and 120Hz hogging the headlines, professional monitors like BenQ's new BL3200PT have gone largely

In creating the BL3200PT, BenQ certainly took some risks. With users increasingly looking for UHD displays or high refresh rates, some may

If you want BIG, this monitor is it!

I sit about 30 inches from this screen and absolutely love it. First off, it's massive. Like "fill your vision" massive. I've been playing The Division and have not noticed excessive motion blur or flashing. Colors are great. I looked at a couple...

-2K in a 32-inch monitor -Flawless panel (no dead pixels on my unit) -Nice styling, strong base -multiple USB ports are handy

-Semi-reflective screen coating can be annoying when operated near windows or other sources of bright lights -The cables that came with the monitor could be a bit longer (for my set-up, that is)

Very Nice Screen. Great Deal.

Would purchase again.

Very Nice Screen. Great Deal. I love it. If youre ok with 60 hz, and 5 ms response time, then this monitor is amazing for gaming. I prefer to crank the graphics up way high and limit the fps to 60 on most games anyway. I dont have any negatives for...

none really. Maybe itd be nice if the monitor could slide up and down, but it really doesnt make a difference to me at all.

Beautiful Display

I was a little worried it would be too big when the UPS guy dropped off the huge box, but once I got it set up on my desk, because it is so compact for the screen size, it is actually a very nice size for me. It is the nicest display I have ever had....

-Fantastic image -Sturdy base -Lots of cables -Great viewing angles -Very small bezels -No apparent dead or stuck pixels -Clear text -Lots of inputs including USB3 -3 year warranty -Price

-None for me so far

Great for the price

Great size. Resolution and fps is what you would want until you make the jump to 4K or 144FPS. Purchased one for home $799. Purchased another 18 months later for work for $599.

Need to turn down the brightness out of the box.

Loved it for a year, now trying to RMA

So.. great monitor but it has developed a problem that I can't live with after a year. Hopefully if you get it you will not have the same problem. Not impressed with BenQ's response to my RMA request so far. I'll adjust my rating upward if and when...

Superb monitor for the money. Excellent contrast. 2560 resolution is perfect for reading visibility without having to resort to the problematic scaling in Windows. Also quite capable gaming monitor

After just about a year, the screen developed a flashing problem. I researched online and found several discussions of BenQ BL3200PT users with exactly the same problem and even a couple of youtube videos illustrating it. Currently trying to get RMA...
