BenQ BL3200PT Review: A 32-Inch AMVA Monitor At 2560x1440

The extra pixel density of a 27-inch monitor sporting a native 2560x1440 resolution can make small text difficult to read. BenQ solves the problem by adding five extra inches to its BL3200PT. Today we test this jumbo 32-inch AMVA-based panel in our lab.

BenQ BL3200PT

BenQ's latest is a big-screen office panel. Can it compete with strong rivals?

Great contrast, brightness and black levels ; Impressive input lag ; Good connectivity ; Reasonable speakers

Can’t match Samsung’s colour accuracy ; Heavy ; Some screen modes disappoint

The controller is a neat solution to the minimal button selection, but the BenQ’s control system isn’t as comprehensive or as consistent as the Samsung’s OSD.

This top-of-the-line 32-inch giant is a brilliant all-rounder which will suit more than just design professionals

BenQ BL3200PT 32" Professional Monitor Review

With the rising stars of 4K, G-SYNC, FreeSync and 120Hz hogging the headlines, professional monitors like BenQ's new BL3200PT have gone largely

In creating the BL3200PT, BenQ certainly took some risks. With users increasingly looking for UHD displays or high refresh rates, some may

Sweet Screen

I'm loving this screen. I had an old screen for 9 years and it was non-LED "TN" LCD panel. This screen made this upgrade worth doing. Old screen had 2ms GTG and I was worried that this screen with 4ms GTG might affect my gaming. So far, it has not. I...

Fast power boot up and fast resolution switching time ; Awesome and large brushed-metal base ; Slide up&down height adjustment with ease, thanks to the ball-bearings ; Eye-Care feature, that I didn't even realize it came with ; Menu buttons are hidden...

It can't tilt forward down as much ; The packaging didn't come with solid screen cover. Which could have made it easier to set this up for first time. The screen is large and bit heavy, so be extra careful when putting the base together and placing on...

Very pleased with my purchase

Clear image, bright colors, no noticeable lag or ghosting yet ; The eye protect feature is useful -- the brightness automatically and subtly turns up or down depending on the ambient light in the room, and it really makes a difference ; The SD card...

I waited to buy this monitor until a special. The prices had creeped up. I had used a 27" Achieva Shimian 2560 x 1440 p and it was quite good but text was too small for me. This monitor is PERFECT at 32" plus it has a TON of extra features. I'm stunned...

Large screen ; Quality craftsmanship ; Excellent game play

None so far

Great for my purposes

I am a software developer, so my main focus is on having a lot of screen area for text. I do watch videos as well, but am a worker, not a gamer. These monitors have been a godsend. As mentioned, I use two BenQs in landscape, coupled with a Asus 24"...

1) Huge, high quality screen for relatively low ; 2) High static (not hyped up dynamic) contrast means readable text, good video reproduction in dark scenes. No IPS glow ; 3) Strong build quality. The stand is solid as a rock. Slim bezels for...

None that I can think of. The price varies wildly. I bought two from NewEgg weeks apart at rather significantly different prices, so watch for the sale (NewEgg Flash)

I bought a Acer B326HUL first and the color and contrast were terrible which surprised me since I have always bought Acer monitors. (Note: I may have got a bad monitor.) Anyway, I sent it back which cost me about $140 with shipping. Next I bought a...

There are too many pros to list. Everything about the monitor pleased me. The color, the contrast, sharpness everything was perfect or adjustable if needed. I really loved the OSD controls. They even give you a little hand controller for the OSD if you...

I had to use the DVI cable to get my fonts to look right. This is not a con. I just wanted buyers to know this. Also, the monitor shakes a little too easy if touched. It needs a better support stand

I love This Monitor, But You Need To Know Why!!

Just to sum everything up. I almost couldn't decide wither I wanted to pay the extra to get the 34UM95 then going with what I have now, but sense my monitor works great for personal use and for work use, it just made the usefulness of my monitor worth...

First off I would like to say it took me around eight months to pick a display for my setup. Some of this review will compare it next to the LG 34UM95 because my friend opted to buy one for his setup instead ; Right out of the box this monitor looked...

Now the cons aren’t lengthy but I do feel it can make or break the buy of this monitor. The display is not a premium IPS display and it should not be a replacement for a small IPS display if you are using it for detailed color work. It has greater...
