BenQ E2400HD LCD monitor

This monitor is one of BenQ's latest offerings, a nice looking full HD monitor. A consortium of some 10 companies, these guys have been getting higher notches in their reviews over the months. Let's see how this monitor fares.

Rs. 16,999 is the MOP, thus it is decently priced if got at the MOP. The blacks are lesser detailed but whites come out vibrantly as the brightness is strong enough, maybe as much as they have rated at 300 cd/m2. Colors too perform quite well, thus...

BenQ E2400HD

BenQ promises that its E2400HD LCD monitor will provide “a brand-new standard for personal digital audiovisual entertainment….” And while we've grown weary of marketing hyperbole, at first glance, this 24-inch panel has the specs to back up this...

A 24-inch LCD that supports 1080p for less than $400

16:9 aspect ratio supported by limited number of films

Whether the 16:9 aspect ratio will make any noticeable difference really depends on what type of content you’ll be watching; still, with a street price hovering around $350, the E2400HD is a good value. But even at this midrange price, we expect more...

BenQ E2200 HD

Recently, we had reviewed Acer's 19-inch widescreen panel that offered a 16:9 resolution and had come away fairly impressed with its performance with regard to movies. In a similar vein, we will be reviewing another 16:9 monitor - BenQ's E2200 HD -...

The E2200 HD as we have already mentioned is a full HD TN panel with a 16:9 resolution of 1920x1080, has a 5ms response time (2ms Grey to Grey) and has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (DCR of 10,000:1). We tested the monitor after calibrating it with...

BenQ E2400HD

If you're looking for a low-priced 24-inch monitor, the BenQ E2400HD comes close to, but can't beat out, the Dell S2409W. For as little as $300, the BenQ E2400HD gives you VGA, DVI, and HDMI connections, great games and movies performance, and a...

Low price; good performance in games and movies at optimal viewing angle; built-in speakers and headphone jack; solid footstand prevents wobbling.

Black level not as deep as we prefer; bad lower viewing angle; lack of ergonomic support; includes only a VGA cable.

The BenQ E2400HD is a 24-inch monitor that sacrifices features for price, but doesn't have enough going for it to best its competition.

BenQ E2400HD

The BenQ E2400HD is a slim, no-frills 16-to-9 aspect ratio, 24-inch monitor that offers average performance at a decent price.

Simple but pleasing design; lightweight; relatively slim; excellent button controls

Average performance; minor analogue issues; no USB ports; stand lacks height, side-to-side angle adjustment

Double your display real estate by adding a second monitor. It's a snap: Here's how

BenQ E2200HD

BenQ is the first vendor we've seen to jam a 1920x1080-resolution panel into a 21.5in widescreen monitor frame, and the results are definitely pleasin...

Full HD resolution, HDMI, HDCP, good contrast and brightness, affordable, speakers

Has only a basic stand, some noticeable motion blur, needs a dedicated input button

Consider this monitor if you want a larger resolution for the home or office, but don't want a huge monitor to dwarf you as you sit at your desk. Maybe give it a miss if you're a gamer, as you might notice too much blurring.

While it may be tempting to buy the largest screen you can afford, you'll get a far better deal with a 22in screen, as BenQ's E2200HD proves.

BenQ E2200HD 22in LCD Monitor

BenQ delivers another 22in Full HD LCD at an even lower price.

BenQ's E2200HD does have its down-sides including a somewhat sub-par chassis and somewhat unattractive design. However, BenQ makes up for it with fair image quality, good viewing angles and an even better price.
