Best Gaming 24" Monitor I have seen

Great monitor and bravo to benq and newegg. Keep up the good work and keep bringing excellent products to gamers!

Excellent color reproduction , no ghosting that i can see, excellent viewing angles, games looks great, Definately bright enough, I had to turn down, very little or no light bleed through, I'm coming fron a 22" CRT so thats important. Classy stand...

This is my second Benq fp241vw from newegg, first one was RMA'd back with three dead pixels, New Egg sent me a new one with out any hassles (Bravo!), I had to pay return shipping (BOO!) and the new one had one stuck pixel in upper right side of monitor...

best 24" monitor out there imo

dont be fooled by the response time. there is NO ghosting at all on this monitor when playing games. i got this monitor for 2 reasons. games and blu-ray movies while playing a game using PIP technology.

not a TN monitor ; it is a beast ; zero dead pixels ; PIP technology. lots of connectivity ; price ; slick looking

NewEgg Rocks!

I bought this monitor for my PC & PS3 and I don't regret it. My version has 1:1 pixel mapping and has the overscan option in the setup screen. I keep it off as the PS3 displayed perfectly when playing Blu-Ray & Games!

Picture quality on the PC & PS3 are Awesome ; Blu-Ray from the PS3 will blow you away on the BenQ FP241VW ; Great monitor

Came with one dead pixel, Not too bad its on the bottom center of the screen and can only see it when on a black background

Great Monitor

Great response, fantastic display. A nice range of inputs, very sharp looking with my desk setup. No ghosting/tearing in WoW or Crysis

It does look different. Might not be the best aesthetically for some setups. 1 dead pixel

Amazing

Best Pc Monitor, especially if you want to run hdmi devices

The picture on this monitor is amazing! It has many different modes for movies and games and so far I have seen no ghosting. It works perfect with my 360 on hdmi (make sure to set your reference levels correctly or it won't look too great)

Menus are a little slow but its no problem, my monitor came with one stuck pixel, i can only notice it on a black screen and i have to get a little closer and change my viewing angle a little. It doesn't bother me since I only see it when looking hard...

I bought this back in April 07, and it's been fairly decent overall. The features such as SenseEye and PerfectMotion are absolutely useless except for inducing a headache. They do nothing more than darken the image while causing it to rapidly flicker....

Excellent response time and overall good colors. Strong, solid stand with a good design. I bought it as a gaming monitor and to do graphic design work, and works fairly well. Lots of inputs. I have my PC, PS3, 360 and Wii hooked up to it with no problems

Does not seem to output true 24-bit color. My Xbox 360 and PS3 look slightly dithered on certain titles - most noticably on Bioshock and Gears of War. It's not severe, but slightly distracting. The black detailing on the removable top "shelf" began to...

Still great, but overscan issue on 360

I've since researched the overscan issue on the xbox360, and i have it (using HDMI in my case). Regardless of 1:1 or aspect mode, the image has about 1/4 inch cut off on the left and bottom, noticable with text in those areas. It is not pixel-perfect....

This is a followup to my 9/1/2007 review, pros are there. Please read thoughts below if you're concerned about overscan in 1080p with the 360

Occasionally it will blackout for a full second about once a week for no reason. Will have to send this to BenQ for service to upgrade to new firmware, when it's available. Also, the VW model is being discontinued
