BenQ GW2450

The BenQ GW series brings VA (Vertical Alignment) panel technology to the company's consumer line of desktop displays. Quality-wise, VA technology falls somewhere in between IPS (In Plane Switching) and TN (Twisted Nematic) panel technology; they offer...

Affordable. Rich color reproduction. Great contrast ratio. Energy efficient

No HDMI port. Stingy feature set. Weak dark grayscale performance

The BenQ GW2450 is a reasonably-priced 24-inch monitor based on VA (Vertical Alignment) panel technology. It offers robust colors and deep blacks but is short on features.

BENQ GW2450

In the video world monitors are probably more critical than any everyday old computer monitor is. Serious photographers who play with Photoshop will know what I mean. Calibration is everything. Which leads me neatly to the BENQ GW2450 which landed on...

BENQ GW2450

BenQ has been a leader in panel technology for monitors and it shows on the BenQ GW2450. The VA panel technology gives you better color reproduction than the common TN panels. The high contrast ratios will help the colors really pop, and the variety of...

The BenQ GW2450 uses VA panel technology instead of TN

The height on the screen cannot be adjusted, it can only be tilted, but there is the option of mounting it on the wall

The screen specs are superb and BenQ has managed to make this monitor's response time much faster than typical VA panels.

BenQ GW2450 24" Class LED Gaming Monitor - 16:9 Widescreen, DVI / VGA, 1920x 1080  GW2450

Monitor worked great for first 2 hours then was cutting off and on. Video cards are brand new and all drivers were installed and up to date.

Excellent Deal on an Excellent Monitor

Everything about this monitor is top-notch, except the fact that it has only the older type, 15-pin connection rather than HDMI, which for me is no problem.I assume that an adapter would work, if a person needed it.Color is great, as is brightness.I...

Solid for the price

The stand is solid and sleek. The bezel is nice. Great size. Attractive on my desk. Beautiful display once the color has been calibrated

The out of box settings are atrocious. I had to spend wayyy too much time calibrating them. My biggest problem with this monitor are the menu and control buttons. The two center buttons are nearly inoperable, you have to press them so hard and there is...
