BenQ GW2750HM review

BenQ is one of the current champions of VA panel technology, and the GW2750HM is one of the latest budget 27in monitors from its home and office range. It's quite a bit cheaper than any other 27in monitor we've tested, but this shows in its overall...

It’s very cheap, but this screen's image quality isn’t up to scratch

BenQ GW2750HM review

The BenQ GW2750HM certainly isn't going to win any design awards but it does have a trio of video inputs comprising VGA, DVI-D and HDMI along with an analogue audio input and a headphone socket. Internal audio is provided through a pair of integrated...

The BenQ GW2750HM isn't perfect: Build quality is average and the styling is unremarkable, it also delivers less accurate colour than we would have hoped, given its VA panel technology. However, it offers excellent viewing angles and very high contrast...

BenQ GW2750HM LED monitor gives a whole new visual experience with truly authentic colours, deeper blacks, higher contrast and sharper details. The viewing angles of the monitor are superb and it is also energy-efficient in nature. If you are planning...

BenQ GW2750HM 27in monitor

a 13in screen and a pile of work to be completed, that choice can seem a poor one.

Multiple input ports; value for money; good performance

Average speaker output; can seem bulky

BenQ’s GW2750HM 27in LED monitor offers great performance for its price, and would suit anyone looking for a jack-of-all-trades 27in monitor that won’t break the bank.

A monitor that does what it should, nothing more.

This is a good monitor for everyday use and casual gaming. The price point (when I purchased it at $209.99) makes all the cons I listed negligible for this large, bright display. If you are the type who watches movies on your PC more than you play...

Good aesthetic and functional design, great color reproduction, and brighter than necessary. The default display settings were almost on the money, so very little time spent in the onscreen menu.

The display seems to require 5-8 seconds of "warm-up" time upon power-up...and every time it loses a signal. The anti-blur feature is okay, but leaves purple-bluish trails on every edge/detail on screen, which is a bit distracting. Speaking of the...

Premature pixel death, bottom right

- Nice display for the price

- A year out, there will be pixel issues on the bottom right of the display. I have two of these, and they both did the same thing - a couple of spots where pixels become light colored (2 places, in my case, each consisting of a blob of about 10 square...

Worth It

It's worth every penny. 27'' and it's a decent gaming monitor. Not the best in the world because of refresh rate, but it's still a nice screen for the price. I bought this to go on my $700 gaming computer and I have been in love since I plugged it in....

1080p, nice colors, great pricing.

VGA cable.... lol seriously? Lacking in the tilt department.

Great monitor with quirks

Refresh rate is great, just mess around with the settings a little to find where you like it ; Black levels are very deep, and the overall picture is nice

The monitor is set to RBG input by default, and the only way to change that is to plug in a device into the RGB port. If you happen not o have an RGB port, on a device, then you are hosed. Something to keep in mind
