BenQ GW2760HS review

Budget 27-inch monitor heaven

Great image reproduction ; Robust and stylish ; Flicker free ; VESA compatible ; Good for movies

No height adjustment ; No swivel stand ; Lousy audio ; Average text reproduction

BenQ GW2760HS review

Its colour accuracy isn't great, but it's still one of the best 27in VA panels we've seen

The BenQ GW2760HS is an excellent VA panel. It doesn't quite compete with more accurate IPS displays, but at this price it seems churlish to complain. If you particularly suffer from monitor-related eye strain, the GW2760HS is for you.

BenQ GW2760HS

BenQ promises its flicker-free 27-inch monitor will save you from eye-strain.

Flicker-free backlight reduces eye strain ; Excellent contrast and brightness ; Good colour production

So-so uniformity across screen ; Low-resolution at large size

There's plenty to tweak, too, with five levels of gamma correction and three levels of overdrive (response time) joining the usual suspects. There are three colour temperature presets, Reddish, Normal and Blueish, and a user mode.

Flicker-free Monitor : BenQ Flickerfree GW2760HS

Spending time on a computer can be productive and entertaining but it can also produce some other less appealing side effects which this next monitor offers to alleviate.

Back in the early days of movie making, and I am referring to those first black & white offerings, the audience had to put up with a great deal of on-screen flicker as the images were being constantly updated. This flickering phenomenon was the reason...

BenQ GW2760HS 27-inch monitor review: outstanding quality for the price

The best-value 27-inch monitor on the market? We think the BenQ GW2760HS might be the one to buy

Large 217-inch display, flicker-free technology, non-glossy AG matte coating, fantastic colour gamut range, unobtrusive bezel, amazingly low price

Resolution not as high as Apple Cinema Display, colour accuracy isn’t as good as a high-end monitor

This is a superb monitor to choose to go with a Mac mini or as an external display for your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. At around £200 it offers premium quality and high performance at a price normally associated with much lower quality display.

Outstanding display

I purchase this while on sale as I needed a new display for gaming, Worth every penny spent the colors are amazing.

Overall very satisfied with this display, Newegg suggests a "Newer Version" of the product, I would not go with the newer version. This display has a smaller bezel and works very well with multi monitor support. Many video settings, works well with no...

Perfect 1080p monitor

I've been running this as my primary display (dual monitor setup) since July 2015. I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. Recently acquired an Nvidia GTX980 - and I set card to run at 60 FPS to match the 60Hz of this monitor with DSR enabled....

Affordable, lots of real estate. Low Blue Light mode is easy on my eyes

Wasn't this inexpensive when I purchased it

BenQ GW2760HS

The panels would have been awesome if it was a mat black instead of the gloss black finish but not in anyway a big deal.

One of the best monitors I've ever owned. I bought 2 of these for extended viewing and the image is crisp and the colors are amazing. I was originally recommended this brand and I normally don't listen to others opinions but I'm glad I did. My wife...

Not to bad of a con but the only thing is I wish the stand had a height adjustment but absolutely no reason to dock an egg for that. Also it only comes with a VGA cable but doesn't matter I now have 2 extra VGA cables. I use the HDMI on mine

I LOVE this thing!!

One thing everyone should know is the brightness setting doesn't actually change black levels, it changes the backlight intensity. The way to get to black level adjustment is actually in the color temperature setting. Set it to user and knock all three...

Super deep blacks, no backlight bleeding, amazing colors (thanks to the 8 bit color processor), awesome contrast, very low input lag, very small amount of ghosting when AMA is set to premium and I haven't noticed any pixel overshoot. All the picture...

Only con for me is navigating around the OSD is slow bit it isn't a deal breaker at all. Once you calibrate to your liking you never have to go back in there again ; Another con is the gloss. I've never been a fan of it but I think this is up to...
