Philips 170X7F / 190X7F

A decent monitor if you prefer a traditional shape. A striking screen with features such as HDCP support. Image quality helps justify the price.

Philips 109B65

I made the mistake of not buying this from newegg. Now all I have to do is pray that I can get it returned. Unless you've seen this monitor in action and still like it, don't buy it.

NEC Multisync LCD 1960NX

As you'd expect from a flat panel, the MultiSync LCD1960NX is slim (7.5 inches deep), light (17.2 pounds), and easy on your electric bill (38 watts, dropping to 2 watts in standby mode). Like many LCDs, it has two on/off switches -- a "vacation switch"...

BenQ FP591

The FP591 is not for people seeking a basic 15-inch LCD. But--support glitches aside--it is a compelling product at a fair price for people who can put its multimedia muscle to good use.

Benq V991

A decade back, 14-inch colour monitors were the owner's pride. Then came the 15-inchers and drove the 14-inch monitors to their grave. Now, 17-inch is the recommended size of monitors. With prices falling all the time, 19-inch monitors are slowly but...

NEC Multisync LCD 1525X

Consider this LCD monitor for use with a graphics card that has a digital output, but avoid it if your company is sticking to analog cards.

Acer K242HQKBMJDP

Listed as supporting HDMI 2.0, but I don't have a video card supporting HDMI 2.0 so I cannot verify. High DPI scaling is neither here nor there. Some programs do very nicely. Other, like Steam, are horrendous. Windows 10 (a bug probably, hopefully will...

its not a full hd monitor, so be sure this resolution is what you want/need. I purchased as a second screen for my home office. I plug the video cable into my laptop and everything works perfectly!

I cannot speak to the audio quality of the built-in speakers. I never use them, so they were not a selling point for me.

I bought 3 of them and I didn't see in the spec this monitor model doesn't have HDMI output. I have to plug some adapter to convert the signal in my GTX 980 (DP, DVI and HDMI). Not too big for surround view setup. Works very well.

I'm largely please with the monitor. Images look fantastic compared to the TN panel I switched from, although the motion smearing caused by the VA panel's pixel response is disappointing. It's not terrible though, and I probably won't even notice it...
