Monitor won't remember brightness and contrast settings- after powering off you have to go back and change them again. Controls are so dumbed down that you can't do things like adjust color temperature etc. Buy it and spend your time being annoyed with...

Ikan V5600 5.6" HD LCD Video Monitor with 1024 x 600 Resolution and HDMI Input

Purchased due to limited visual ability to use viewfinder on DSLR. The Ikan V5600 is a great deal more awkward on a DSLR camera than I thought it would be. Quality seems okay but the attachment device is very iffy in that it does not seem to be very...

HP 15'' L1502 Flat Panel LCD ( P9617D#ABA )

The HP1502 Monitor and a few of its close brothers... Have an intrinsic design fault on their power supplies, which causes them to fail. The result on screen is that the monitor will flash on and off every few seconds. This is more prevalent at higher...

At £500, the new LaCie 120 monitor offers bright, crisp performance. The monitor looks good with its narrow bezel and simple but functional stand. The only criticism, a lack of Kelvin slider or presets of specified colour temperature, a colorimeter,...

I bought this a while back and just installed it. It installed fine and works pretty well. One thing to note (that I did not), is the type of KVM cables it uses (vga/ps2 to 25-pin). My old KVM used VGA/PS2 on both sides, so I had to buy new cables. I...

Soyo DYLM1788

I purchased the monitor on sale for $139.99. I figured this was a pretty decent price for a 17" LCD monitor, and wanted to use this as a secondary display for graphics applications and games. I will likely be returning the monitor, as the price is ...

This is an OK monitor with a really nice exterior look to it. It practically works right out of the box and responds well, with no glitches from its front panel controls, or with reboot. It will suffice if your not on the computer much, ~but for...

I would love to write a review for this product because that would mean I actually have it! Is there ANY rational or reasonable excuse as to why it is now going on close to 5 MONTHS since my order has been placed, and will likely be a HALF YEAR before...

What a difference a year makes-especially in a market that acts like a roller coaster! Last year, 15-inch flat panels cost about $1,000; this year they're half that. Price fluctuations like these can be a buyer's best friend, if the timing is right.

When I bought my first computer, it cam with an optiquest monitor. Overall, it seemed to work well. It had nice color, and I loved the 17" size (my parents have the smaller 15" - what a difference 2" makes!!). I had no problems with it, and thought...

Microtek C588 (S0932986)

I bought two of these. One died after 3 months, so I sent it in to get fixed. When I got it back it worked well. Now they are both broke. The good news is that Microtek is replacing them with a new model(c593). Hopefully that one works better.

I order two of these monitor last month. One of the two failed within two weeks of use. I would rather spend a couple more dollars that having to send the monitors back.
