Solid touch screen for a POS

Using this in a restaurant, an older model last us about 5 years. So far we are pleased with it. If any water gets on the screen, the mouse pointer will jump around, so keep your fingers dry.

Good for a Starter Touch screen!

I have yet to try my wacom tablet pen on the screen. I'm sure it should work.

I just can't handle the idea of the wacom tablet. The touch screen is much more accurate. I have windows 7, works just fine

It takes a while to really get all the settings going. Especially if you are new to calibrations and setup

So so

For a point of sale device or similar this would probably be great, but for a desktop monitor the display quality isn't there.

1) Touch screen works very well as an input device ; 2) Fedora 9 linux kernel has support for it as a usb device

1) Display is harsh on my eyes ; 2) Viewing angle in which colors are accurate is VERY small. If I'm lined up with the top of the monitor, the colors already start to look funny on the bottom and vice versa ; 3) Less important: Elo's linux drivers...

Accutouch?

A 5-wire resistive touch monitor. Base is pretty sturdy. Dual Serial/USB is nice if you are slowly migrating your systems. Looks like it could take a moderate coffee spill...but don't push your luck

Accutouch" is spin. It would be better to call it what it is...5-wire resistive touch screen

Nice and Easy

This was my first purchase of an ELO touch screen. I choose this one because the screen is glass. I had purchased from another company before and had problems with a non-glass touch screen.

Very stable base, clean look. Fast operation and easy setup. Driver software includes all the basic options you would need.

It wasn't free, and it's yet to do my laundry for me.
