Gateway FPD2185W

It used to be that to enjoy truly pristine graphics, your only option was to spring for a huge and unwieldy CRT display. Nowadays though, many modern LCD monitors offer the same sharp resolutions and excellent color fidelity, which professionals crave....

Excellent image quality. Lots of video connections. Highly adjustable

Chintzy warranty. DVI cable not included

The Gateway FPD2185W is a stylish 21-inch widescreen LCD that delivers better-than-average performance and lots of features. This 21-inch Gateway LCD is also very reasonably priced.

Gateway FPD2185W

The Gateway FPD2185W's excellent image quality, adjustability, extra features, and decent price make it tough to beat. A longer standard warranty, toll-free tech support, and better video playback quality would make it invincible.

Superb overall image quality; extremely adjustable; affordably priced; has loads of connections, including HDTV, composite, component, S-Video, and USB ports.

Merely average DVD-playback quality; skimpy one-year warranty; DVI cable and speakers sold separately.

The Gateway FPD2185W's excellent image quality, adjustability, extra features, and decent price make it tough to beat.

Gateway FPD2185W

Far sexier than a cow grazing in a field, Gateway's beefy monitor makes others look like cud.

Handsome, versatile cabinet; big screen; and lots of inputs

Grayscale issues affect image detail; inconvenient OSD buttons

So while this LCD offers a lot of bang for the buck in terms of features, it comes at the expense of top-notch image quality.
