Was not a good deal

Its out of warranty and I needed a monitor right away so I ended up getting a DELL 24" on sale locally. I'd never get a Hanns-G product ever again. The first one was DOA and this was was flakey half the time I owned it. It lasted a little more than a...

This is an update to my previous review

The last several months it would intermittently have the video go black though it would stay powered up and no errors displayed. Finally today it got totally unusable. Now when its turned on the video comes on for a couple seconds and then goes black,...

Another greant Hanns Product

I was wary of the Hanns-G/Spree brand at first, but now they are my #1 choice for quality, affordable flat-panels (LCD/LED)

BRIGHT. Just as bright as the LED versions I have. We got three of these, and four LED versions ; Have purchased 7 different Hanns-G/Spree screens (two models) and have never had any issues et all. Never a dead pixel, never a problem

Not really a con, because all screens with built in speakers have low quality speakers. With speakers this useless, they might as have just not included them

First one DOA

NewEgg sent me another without waiting for first one to get back on RMA. I've always had great service in the decade plus I've been shopping at NewEgg

The replacement unit seems to work fine. Picture quality good but not great. But then again it was only $114.99 for a 23.6" refurb

First one was DOA - none of the touch buttons or power led worked. Its shell looked like new though ; Replacement shows lots more sign of previous use but it does seem to work ok. Flimsy stand - it rocks side to side a little when typing

DOA, slow RMA

Will never purchase a Hanns-G product again, and will never recommend a Hanns-G product as consultant

Comes free with the knowledge that you shouldn't buy Hanns-G products

Arrived DOA, and the RMA service is so slow (over 2 weeks) that it's practically useless for anything but handcuffing you and your money

Not bad

I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this monitor, but after tweaking the settings on it a bit I must say that I'm impressed.

Price; you get a lot of bang for the buck here at it's sale price. Better than I expected

Speakers are a joke. Base is rather flimsy

Size of screen ; Resolution

Screen bleeds from 3 different points. I've never seen a monitor that does that, and I'm really not very picky ; Very dark. I saw this after messing with all setting several times, and having this next to another monitor the gradiance is substantial ;...

ZOMG Teh brightness

Turn down the brightness when you receive one of these, and don't plan on using the built in speakers.

Nice large screen size for the price, the built in tilt is nice, the base isn't flimsy like some other monitors

Monitor came from the factory with the brightness at 100, definitely have to turn it down ; Built in speaker quality sucks (I always use gaming headphones, just had to test them out when I got it)

Great bang for buck!

Best bang for buck if you're lookin' for full-HD You get more than what you'll pay for.

I's a great budget full-HD monitor ; Built-in speakers ; Full-HD support ; Eco friendly and energy-star rated

The speakers are situated in the back, facing away ; The stand it relies on is very wobbly ; Adjusting it's angle feels awkward, as the stand rebounds back and there's some odd tension

This will make the 3rd Hanns-G monitor I have purchased. I am at a point to where it's the only monitor brand I will buy now. The brand is consistantly as good as some of the other monitors that are priced for $100 or more! And everytime I get a new...

Speakers aren't great but who play's music and games through monitor speakers when you have other speaker system? The only real nitpick I have is the proprietary DVI cables it uses. otherwise its awesome

So far, so bright !

The touch-sensitive adjustment controls take a bit of getting used to. As others have mentioned, be prepared to turn the brightness down. It comes from the factory set at 100. It's much too bright at that setting.

Nice, wide monitor. Easy install. Vista (yes, Vista) recognized it immediately. I don't know whether this is a pro or con, but there are no actual knobs for adjusting monitor functions. The lower edge of the bezel contains touch controls for these...
