Mostly great

 

No dead pixels, 5 years now and still kicking

The on/off button was really cheap and broke in a year or two so now I have to stick my finger in the remaining hole to turn it on/off, but it's a minor inconvenience for what has otherwise been a great monitor

Great Case

 

I'll go with a different company next time.

Worked great with HDMI/DVI

Died after 4 years of use, seems this is very common. A shame for such an expensive product. I've yet to pull it apart to see if I can fix anything

I'm happy with it

 

I want a 28" next because this monitor spoiled me.

I bought this monitor from Newegg's sister sight in 02/11 and had my fingers crossed there would be no dead pixels--as that is the one pressure point above all others that gets me upset. It was perfect. Then I started to hear people say they had issues...

None. Mine has been outstanding

I learned my lesson and stick with only Samsung and HP monitors now. Pay the few extra dollars to get something that will last.

They worked well for over a year

I purchased two of these monitors and was very happy with them (see my previous review). However, at just under the two year point one of the monitors died. Then, to add insult to injury, the second monitor died a week later! A quick Google search...

My best monitor just died

 

I'm looking, but not finding an online fix. I replaced the caps in a LG Flatron that died and it has worked great for years. If I could just find a repair guide for this Hanns-G, I would be set.

This monitor has been great. It does exactly what the specs say it will do and it does it beautifully. The display is crisp and clear and the colors are sharp

It just died. I was in the middle of editting a document when the screen just went blank. I turned it off and back on and I get the display for about 3 seconds (longer if I leave it off for a few minutes, but no more than about 7 seconds). I'm sure...

Worst customer service

 

I bought this monitor back in nov'10. Put it through it's paces and about a year later the monitor is just white screen. I e-mail Hanns-G no reply. I call them to point them to my e-mail and get assured that a response would be sent to me soon. a week...

Great looking monitor while it laster

Customer service sucks ; prone to having dead pixels ; only 1 year on the screen 3 years on everything else
