i had this for awhile and its always been a beautiful monitor

i should first say that i do a lot of digital photography and web design work. i do some movie watching on my pc as well, but i don't play 3-d games. this is my first lcd. i'm coming from a fairly old 17" trinitron that had amazing color and detail...

sharp, no dead pixels (that i can see at least), good color and contrast, good shadow and highlight detail (for an lcd at least) when using the sRGB mode and a custom profile, built in usb hub is nice

some ghosting is noticeable, video tends to play quite dark. color range isn't anywhere near as good as a good crt. i haven't bought a color calibration device, yet, and assume i could get slightly better results once i do that. i noticed that someone...

Unsurpassed 1:1000 contrast ratio. Easy adjustible telescopic stand with tilt. Nice modern design.
