Hitachi Super Scan Elite 751 19" Monitor

I read CNet's review of this monitor that said it was hard to adjust, Yes compared to a 2 button simple smaller monitors it is harder to adjust. But compared to high quality larger monitors, It's normal and simply requires reading the manual and...

A 19" monitor, with 21" quality and 17" price

I purchased my Superscan 751 when putting together my computer back in early 1999. At work I had a 21" monitor, and knew that there was no way I'd be able to live with a 17" again, both for work (spreadsheets & programming) and--more...

Superb picture quality. Price. Size. Controls

Errant fuzziness at some settings. Controls. No USB. Not a flatscreen

Best bang for the buck!

I wanted to graduate from my old 14" AST monitor to something bigger in size but has similar clarity and colors. I did a lot of research in sevral websites and came to the following conclusion:

.22dp on a 19" at an afordable price!

I bought this monitor for the simple facts that it could do 1600x1280 resolution and was .22 dot pitch. The smaller the dot pitch the less strain on your eyes (so I'm told by my doctor). I normaly run the monitor in 1280x1024 as anything higher on...

Hitachi SuperScan 751 Monitor

This monitor is one of the reasons why there is no excuse not to buy a 19" screen. It is clear and sharp, and is perfect for every application you will use. I have used my SuperScan for about a year now and have had no complaints.

Clear picture, Easy Controls

No extras, not small

Product Specifications

If you're shopping for a monitor, you can forget the old saying "You get what you pay for. Hitachi's 19" SuperScan Elite 751 delivers the resolution and clarity of a 21" monitor yet costs hundreds less. For the price, it would be difficult to find its true 1600 x 1200 resolution at 75 Hz refresh rate and 24-bit color in another brand. In tests, even five-point type is easy to read. Contrast is superb, with a built-in microprocessor for tweaking the picture to perfection. A perfect choice for small spaces, the monitor is also exceptionally compact, even shallower than some 17" models. This is the perfect "size-performance-price" combination for high-resolution applications.
