At a price of AU$649, the 2309m is a decent buy. While it performs well, the blacks aren't as deep as we'd like, and we'd be more tempted to find something with a matte screen to cut down on reflections.

Very happy with this purchase although I am not an expert on monitors. Replaced a standard 14" square Dell, so I guess I was bound to be happy.

Needed a wide screen good colour quality monitor to use in conjunction with an existing Samsung T220. Price was a criterea, as was of course, quality. HP produce two versions of this monitor, a "V" which is an analogue and an "M" which is a digital...
