Very impressed

There's a driver update available on the HP site that you'll want to use. After installing that and twiddling with the calibration tools for about twenty minutes to get things just so, I was ready to rock 'n roll. Honestly folks, I'm blown away, and...

Well packed, easy to unbox and setup without tools. Absolutely gorgeous display, deep colors and the viewing angles go all the way to the sides. Included calibration tools are very handy for getting things dialed in just right for your environment....

It's light enough that it's susceptible to vibration/movement if your desk isn't on a solid foundation. No provision for a VESA mount (although I hear tale that adapter kits are available). While it comes with VGA and DVI cables, there is no HDMI...

Excellent

Got this on sale during the shellshocker. Well worth the price of admission.

Colors are amazing, So is contrast sharpness and overall presentation

None, The "glare" is no worse than any other glossy screen. If you know what those are then you know what this is. Not a big deal for me as the room its in doesn't get too bright

Glare, otherwise great

In a dark room, this monitor presents some of the most vibrant colors, and smoothest crystal clear images I've ever seen. However, if you put it in a room with sunlight, the light will undoubtedly make very noticeable reflections off of the screen. The...

Vivid colors ; Smooth picture ; Bright and clear images from every angle

disappointing and overrated.

This is a clear display with great viewing angles due to the IPS. However it also offers a dull, lifeless image, disappointing contrast/"pop", and absolutely useless image calibration software. Since there is no manufacturer warranty and a restocking...

The IPS panel does indeed provide a very comfortable range to the viewing angles. It's nice not to have those subtle distortions as you move around

Unless I have a faulty panel, I don't understand the glowing reviews this monitor receives. I compared this side by side with a far cheaper (and slightly larger) Hanns-G non-IPS panel, and even after considerable efforts to calibrate and adjust the...

Remarkable upgrade for money.

I upgraded to this monitor from a Viewsonic VX900 TFT monitor which had four dead pixels in the middle. The HP, besides having much better resolution and color/brightness, was also an upgrade in size. I also have a 27" iMac so this monitor is a bit in...

Very good brightness and color. Size and resolution for the money is excellent. Connectivity via DVI and HDMI a plus. VGA is there too FWIW

None really so far. Cheap speakers and a microphone would be a bit of a help, but that's not a real con

Love it!

Amazing Value and More.

Display is having huge impact on my computing. Games and photos are rendered with incredible clarity. The effect is so profound. Like making the jump from MSDOS to Windows. Great photos look even better. The way webpages are rendered. Everything looks...

Huge Value

1920 x 1080 resolution does not approach an Apple display (2560x1440) @ $1000; but is equivalent in specification to offerings by Dell Ultra Sharp, NEC and ASUS. It's does so for several hundreds of dollars less! $204 for a calibrated monitor (newegg...
