Inexpensive; good warranty; intuitive onscreen menu for adjusting image settings.

Mediocre image quality; limited adjustability.

HP's L1702 is priced to bring 17 inches of LCD to the masses, but its image quality won't satisfy demanding users.

Good quality sound but...

I bought this because it was a square monitor. I prefer square over the widescreen. Availability of square monitors are getting less and less each month.

Very Clear screen. High resolution ; Displays rich colors ; After setting this thing up, I realized, the price was very good ; Good quality monitor ; But time will tell

When ordering it showed a 'DVI' cable would come with it ; It actually came with a 'VGA' cable ; No biggie but was expecting a 'DVI ; Still works with the VGA

Very Nice Monitor

All in all, for the price, its a very nice monitor with great features. Not one dead pixel on this one. Just be sure to have a good graphics card to run in 1600X1200.

S-IPS technology for superior viewing angles and color reproduction ; S-IPS LCD's have flat pixel response times, so they do not ghost as badly as the others. This one isnt an exception as there is no noticable ghosting in any game i have played ; The...

The backlight is slightly brighter in 2 corners, but it is hardly noticable to me ; The black levels arent accurate. Again, this hardly bothers me at all
