Excellent for vision and sound. Replaces a cumbersome old monitor. Delighted to find a slim model with this aspect (don't use PC for video watching!) Setting up was very simple - clear instructions that even I could follow.

Why would anyone want a widescreen monitor when most of the work done is word-processing documents and reading/writing e-mails where you need to see as much text as possible without having to keep scrolling, browing web pages where the same criteria...

iiyama have reduced backlights from 4 to 2 and it shows - muddy look. sent ours back. first of several iiyama monitors we've bought which we've been unhappy with.

I ended up buying this monitor direct from Amazon after a rather terrible experience with Ebuyer, I knew from experience at work that Ilyama made a good monitor.

Nice product. It was up and running within a very short space of time.

I prefer a 4:3 as one does not have to scroll so often/much. What I like is that the screen 'sleeps' if there is no signal, such as if one puts the PC in to a low-power state. The response is quick too, to such events.
