Should you make the jump to a 16:9 monitor?

You may have thought a 24in monitor is a luxury you can't afford, but Iiyama's latest 16:9 display costs just £172 including VAT. Its 1,920x1,080 resolution also makes it ideal for editing and watching HD video.

The Iiyama ProLite E2407HDS will work fantastically with any games console or Blu-ray player and you won't need to interfere with the image in order to make it fit into the space.

With a 16:9 aspect ratio, the 24in Iiyama ProLite E2407HDS flatpanel monitor is well set up for high-definition television.

I brought this as a second monitor to go along side a much more expensive screen so that I could put up my reference material without having to keep switching backwards and forwards, and I must say that I'm not disappointed.

This monitor has awful backlight bleed. I've been using one for 8 weeks and you cant watch movies on it because of this problem which is getting worse.

Purchased this as an Upgrade to my 19" wide screen to take advantage of My Geforce 9800Gtx. And im not dissapointed one bit.

This is an all round great monitor, especially for the relatively low price point. Images and text look crisp and move smoothly on its full 1080p resolution.
