The VX2262wm is one of the newest additions to Viewsonic's LCD stable and is designed to offer 'the perfect balance of performance and style'. So, does the Viewsonic find a stable balance?
Though not perfect out of the box, the brightness issue can be corrected. It's a shame the same can't be said for the monitor's control buttons.

Compared to a standard backlight, Viewsonic claims its LED backlights offer enhanced brightness and lower power consumption. After putting the new VLED221wm through its paces, we're happy to report the screen scores on both counts.
If you have the cash and don't mind a little tweaking, the VLED221wm will reward you with visuals to die for.
