LG Flatron L206WU review: LG Flatron L206WU

LG Flatron L206WU

DisplayLink video chip lets you connect it via USB, which makes it highly convenient as a second display; you can daisy-chain up to six DisplayLink LCDs; attractive design from the front; screen can rotate.

Narrow viewing angle; unattractive rear design; no HDCP support; running on USB uses CPU resources.

For its intended use--as a second productivity monitor--the LG L206WU is a smart choice for its unique USB connectivity despite its narrow viewing angle.

LG Flatron L206WU

If you've always wanted to work with two or more monitors but were daunted by the complexity of such a setup, then LG has a display for you. Targeting users who require a multi-monitor workspace, the LG Flatron L206WU ($350 list) uses DisplayLink's...

Fast pixel response. Connects via USB. HDCP compliant

Weak light-gray performance. Inconveniently positioned USB ports. Poor vertical viewing angle

The LG Flatron L206WU is a serviceable 20-inch monitor with a twist: You can hook it up to your USB port for use as a second monitor.

LG Flatron L206WU 20in Widescreen DisplayLink Monitor

Fancy DisplayLink on a widescreen display? If so, the LG Flatron L206WU may be the answer.

Right now, though admittedly by mere dint of being the only sports car on the block, the Flatron L206WU is the Ferrari of DisplayLink-enabled monitors. Even as a ‘normal' monitor this LG would be acceptable value, but until more competition comes along...

LG Flatron L206WU with DisplayLink

Your PC or notebook has no extra display outputs? How about connecting your monitor up via USB then? LG's L206WU is a stylish little number that can do exactly that and more.

LG Flatron L206WU - DisplayLink monitor

DisplayLink technology uses USB to expand your desktop view - no graphics card required! We check out the LG Flatron L206WU.

DisplayLink is an easy way of expanding your display environment, which will have great appeal to business and creative users. The LG Flatron L206WU itself is a mixed bag, however. While image quality is generally fine, the consumer styling won't suit...

Life is Good with this LG Monitor

The LG L206WUQ is an interesting monitor to look at.  Like most flatscreens, it has your typical black gloss bezel around the LCD screen.  What makes this one interesting is the white pedestal stand and white rear cover.  It sets this off a bit in a...

LG Flatron L206WU

The LG L206WU is a fairly ordinary-looking 20-inch wide-screen LCD with an unusual feature: a DisplayLink video chip that lets you connect it to your PC via USB 2.0. This ability makes the L206WU highly convenient as a second display (and you can...
