IBM ThinkVision L170m

The IBM ThinkVision L170m has a value price but delivers more than you'd get with a no-name model.

Affordably priced. Well-designed front-panel controls. Integrated speakers with better-than-average sound quality.

Weak viewing-angle performance. Limited printed documentation. Tilt-only base.

This 17-inch monitor is decent for basic office use, but it's low on extras and not particularly adjustable.

Easy to operate; clear text display; built-in speakers.

No DVI input; mediocre graphics display; limited adjustability.

This is an acceptable 17-inch LCD for a home or small-business user who doesn't require great image quality.
