Remarkable from the waste up

This is the first IPS display I have ever used, so maybe I am just blown away by IPS and not necessarily this monitor. I got it pretty cheap though (newegg discounts ftw). A few reviews here mention that it has terrible colors or input lag. So far I...

Stunning display. Absolutely gorgeous. Picks up the freckles on the actors faces with streaming video. No shuddering or any visual input lag. No weird colors (some of the built in choices are terrible, but the default custom looks beautiful)

The power cable and brick is something I would expect to see on a router, not a monitor. My DELL TN LCD monitor uses the same cable as a standard desktop (three prong female), but this monitor uses a round DC cord (like you see on laptops). The brick...

Should have DVI cable standard

Was only looking for two monitors, but since the price was so good I ended up getting three. All look excellent straight out of the box. I have them mounted above the hutch portion of a desk, and there is no issues with viewing angle looking slightly...

Price point was excellent. I ordered 3 (139.99 ea with the $20.00 Promo) of them and have them mounted using the VESA mounting plate on the back which eliminates the biggest CON

HDMI or DVI cables should be standard on all monitors now ; The stand that is provided is really an inferior product. which has been repeatedly noted in other reviews, if you don't want to knock this thing over by accident make sure you get an after...

Great IPS

Great IPS if you can snag it below $150.

Calibrated it as it was too bright at first. Googled up some calibration settings for this monitor in particular. My ps3 is hooked up to it and plays games fine. No ghosting. Viewing angles are great. Great image. Will use this as a my desktop monitor...

THe stand ,I guess, but im not touching it.. so whatever. Its fine

Meh......

Its works

From day one this monitor had a orange tint to it. I messed with the settings but only could get dark colors. Its not bad but for the price You could get a better response time

Amazing monitor!

Everything about this monitor is just awesome! The size took a bit to get used to. My old one was 18.5". So it was a pretty big jump

Very impressive for the price

The cable ports face away from the back of the screen, not downward. I know this is important for some people, and at the time of this review you can't tell from the product pictures. These screens completely blow away the IPS panel that I had before...

I ordered two for a multi-display setup, no issues with either of them ; Standard IPS goodness: great colors and viewing angle. Not at all washed out like the TN panels used in most monitors ; No pixel problems on either screen. I haven't pixel-crawled...

Only comes with a VGA cable (you'll need to order a DVI or HDMI cable separately) ; Very bright red power LED ; Weird 9V power adapter that is just large enough to block the outlet next to it on a power strip ; The stand it comes with is slightly...

A great IPS monitor

I needed a better clearer monitor for photo editing that had better color rendition. I read about I P S monitors and found that they were the best solution. It is a major improvement over my paired older X213w monitor. When you see them side by side...

crisp and clear ; no dead pixels ; great for editing photos ; LED back light for low energy consumption ; Very bright

a little more expensive than regular (non IPS) monitors

Compared to TN monitors

Having only used TN monitors before (Dell, Samsung and LG), I wanted to get IPS by LG as it would match my new Mac as that's what Apple themselves use. First impressions were it was set too bright but that was easily fixed, then I realised I was seeing...
