Nice blacks, good colour, sharp image

Some contrast issues, minor colour banding

While the LG Flatron W2242T isn't the best monitor around, it is a good all-purpose office display that will be suitable for a variety of needs.

LG W2242T-BF Black 22"

Bought for my son almost 5 years ago. He used it everyday. He has been gone to the Marines for 2 years and now I use it everyday as my main monitor. It's big and dependable.

Over four years and still working wonderfully. Beautiful colors and not a lot of heat radiation. Dependable and Quiet

Really none but if I had to put one it wol be that it may be just a little top heavy

Great Monitor Really Lasts!

I would definitely buy this item again from Newegg!

Four Years running every day except vacations and still like the day I bought it. A very good quality and the display is excellent still. Highly suggested. Best Price here also

Display Menu on bottom controls too dark, hard to read. Set it once and forget it though

One going strong, one died after 2 years

Bought a pair back in 09. One failed after about 2 years, other is still going strong. The remaining one's backlight is a bit dimmer, but otherwise going strong. LG support is a nightmare to deal with, but I did eventually get a replacement refurb...

Works. Not much else to say

One died after 2 years. Stands are non-adjustable and a little flimsy

Great Monitor

I was worried when I ordered after reading all the bad reviews on the 1.32NA firmware. First thing I checked when it arrived was the firmware version. Great, it's 1.32NA with Rev A4. I was thinking about returning, but other part of me said let's give...

Fine Monitor

This is a good monitor and I would buy it again. It came with both a DVI cable and a D-Sub cable (my on-board video only supports D-Sub analog.) UPS delivered the monitor in 1 day - great shipping.

Running at 1440x900 the display has good brightness and contrast. The black frame is a matte finish and easy on the eye. The stand tilt is fully adjustable, just sort of stiff to move. The stand is plenty sturdy for the monitor

There was one dead pixel (-1 egg). The blue power switch light is bright

Great deal!

I don't know about the people who said this monitor didn't have an adjustable stand. It was the first thing I went to check when I received the monitor and the tilt is fully adjustable.

Price for the brand, screen size, reliability, ease of installment...perfect

Good monitor

HUUUUGE.

Good performance all around. Good deal for money ; 4:3 force button is nice. (press it, it compresses the screen to be 4:3 instead of widescreen: ideal for older games)

By default, it will auto-dim dark scenes (lower brightness). But this can be turned off. Stand is a bit gimpy ; only adjusts angle. No dvi cable ; But this is just nitpicking
