NEC Multisync PA241W

Designed with imaging professionals in mind, the NEC MultiSync PA241W ($1,049 list) delivers the kind of performance required by photographers and video editors, or anybody who requires a high degree of color and grayscale accuracy. A built-in KVM...

Very good performance. Excellent viewing angles. Highly adjustable stand. Four-year warranty

Pricey. No HDMI port

The NEC MultiSync PA241W is a well appointed 24-inch display offering outstanding color, grayscale, and text quality. Most consumers may balk at its $1K price tag, but imaging professionals will appreciate its performance and robust feature set.

A great display.

Reds will appear more saturated in non-color managed programs. You can setup Firefox to be color managed so that way you can view photos on websites as they are intended. Non-color managed programs (games) benefit from this by looking especially more...

This is one of few true 10-bit IPS displays for this price level. Color clarity is excellent especially when calibrated with an NEC SpectraSensor Pro using SpectraView II software ; The monitors input latency is NOT noticable when playing games at any...

There is minimal backlight bleed on the bottom right corner of my display, but is barely noticable during use. The reality is that this cannot be avoided with any IPS panel you buy ; It's not LED. At least LED color accurate monitors haven't gotten...

Worth the Price

It is worth the price. If you are looking at this and the P241, then the only difference is the wide gamut and the standard gamut panel. Other than that, the viewing angles are great, the brightness compensation (to even out all sections of the...

Nice high-end photo editing monitor

My monitor is driven by an EVGA 01G-P3-1361-KR GeForce GTX 460 video card at default resolution (1920x1200 60Hz) over a DVI-D connection, which works fine. The monitor does support 10-bit colour depth which requires use of the DisplayPort, but I am...

I needed a high-end monitor for a Photoshop workstation build. I use mostly the AdobeRGB colour space for digital still photography, and so I needed a wide gamut monitor that could display as much of that colour space as possible. I also needed...

My only gripe is minor and has to do with the way the ports are located on the monitor. Without a mirror it is almost impossible to connect the cables because the ports are all facing down. However, since cabling is not something one changes...

Great Value compared to Eizo and actually a bit better... for print and web!

As a professional photographer and retoucher with an Eizo at the office, when I saw this had similar specs at half the price I jumped. In color managed workspaces working with embedded icc profiles in Photoshop and other programs, you can't tell the...

Great Value, but Eizo is better overall

Must have if you have a NEC PA monitor

Only with the Spectraview II software can you easily calibrate the internal 14bit 3D LUT.

AWESOME! I love this display and I want a 2nd one!

I have been working with two Apple Cinema displays until I recently replaced one with this, after I noticed a dead pixel on one of my old displays! I could not be happier!!!
