Philips Brilliance 273P3LPHES review

Though lacking in high-end features, the Philips Brilliance has smart power-saving technology and is good value for money

Dashing good looks; smart power-saving features; HDMI; a very good price for the budget conscious

Not IPS; no DisplayPort; lower resolution

Philips 273P3LPHES

I was looking for a 27" monitor with fully height adjustable stand, so this one was on my shortlist. It ticks plenty of other boxes too (VGA, DVI, HDMI inputs). Image quality is superb, and I like the standard modes such as office, photo, economy etc....

I haven't tried the USB ports, because this was the only lead that was not supplied. Might be able to use one off an old printer or scanner

The drivers are not included on the enclosed CD. The CD info takes you to a Philips website for registration of warranty and then to get the drivers. However, the driver section did not recognise the monitor model no matter what I tried. Somehow I...
