Planar PX1910M

The $469 Planar PX1910M is one of the few monitors to include screen pivot software along with its physical pivot adjustment. The software, Pivot Pro, costs $40 if bought separately.

Full range of physical adjustments

Weekdays-only support policy

Planar's weekday-only support policy will be ample for business customers (13 hours should be enough for most office needs). But the lack of weekend support will frustrate the home user

Planar PX1910M

Good DVI performance. Highly adjustable. Excellent viewing angle performance.

Weak analog light gray scale performance. Lacks cable management.

The Planar PX1910M boasts a fast pixel response rate, plenty of features, and better-than-average image quality when used with a digital signal. However, its analog performance was flawed.

The soot-black Planar PL1910M doesn't have the razor-thin lines of the 20-inch Sony SDM-S204 or the height and adjustability range of the 19-inch Philips 190P5. Instead, it is stationary and only as tall as it is wide--16.5 by 16.6 inches. The...

Total lack of adjustability.

Great video, terrible audio

If you're looking for an inexpensive 19" LCD with a low-level set of speakers for basic office work, this should do it for you. I paid about $150. While the display does adjust on an angle, there is no height adjustment available.

I like the large viewing area, it's very crisp and bright. Additionally, this monitor will work with the Mac Pro towers. The cable management is a nice touch

I do not like the quality of the audio that comes out of the on board speakers. It's very quiet and muffled. If you're looking for alerts during data processing, these are fine, but for anything more I find them to be unacceptable
