Samsung Digimax 240 Digital Camera

I have been shooting indoor and outdoor pictures, all are crytal clear with sharp images.

small and very light weight.Big plus uses AA batteries of any type. This batterie can be found anywhere in the world.I am using NIMH rechargable batteries. The pictures are sharp and clear.

no real weakness found considering how reasonable the price is.

Good, basic camera

I purchased this camera during Christmas and don't have any major complaints. It would be nice if the lens was covered in some way, but as long as you use the case wisely, it shouldn't be a problem. The battery lifetime is short. I went through the set...

Good pics, great price, zoom lens.

Drains batteries quickly, no lens cover, no AC adapter or information about purchasing one

Let me tell you, I shopped around and shopped around for a digital camera and I was between the HP Photomax 320 and the Samsung Digimax 240. I decided to go with the Samsung because for $20 more, I could get an optical zoom. -There is a 3x Opitcal zoo ...

only uses 2 AA's instead of 4 like most cameras, good quality, nice zoom

no sound with movies, no lens cover, takes a while to recharge flash

Product Specifications

If you are looking for ease of use and a simple sleek design in your new camera, focus on the Samsung Digimax 240 - it captures high quality digital images in a compact and affordable format, and provides a range of top spec features at an affordable price. The Digimax 240 is for those snappers who like substance and style and are comfortable with digital photography. A high quality SHD range will ensure clarity of shot while 2.0 mega pixels allow the smallest details to shine through and - for those who insist their own presence should be strong within shots - a 10 second self timer allows all faces in the frame. Shooting takes place in single as well as continuous modes, and both still and moving pictures (to 320 x 240 pixels) are downloadable. Framing your subject at a glance is easy with the 1.6" color TFT LCD screen while the digital zoom can capture a still image up to twice its normal size due to the Samsung SHD lens' focal length of up to 15.6 mm. The 240 is the ideal gift to yourself if you have entered the realms of digital photography and are ready to upgrade to a more professional style of camera while retaining the convenience and reasonable price of a Samsung product.
