Awesome monitor

I got this monitor so I could replace an old CRT. Does a great job. Works great and it's cheap

For Me Big Dis

Big neg surprise. I attached this to my Acer 15.6" LED monitor - got 3" more. The Acer screen is the same 1366x768, so the improvement had to come from color, contrast, etc. Sorry to say but the Acer blows away the Sam. I have a recent Sam 46" led tv,...

Cheep

Got it for under $100, small but used as a second monitor so it works good and doesn't take up much space.

Low cost, decent picture

Nice for the Price

This was my first non-recycled item in a long time. I like to just swap out used for used. Had a dying CRT (I know!) and wanted a well-reviewed, inexpensive, analog compatible monitor for an older PC. Graphics card is ancient but able to handle movies...

Analog and DVI compatible, Plenty of settings, Plug & play

Magic Angle feature not so great

Very Satisfied

Just to let some of you know, the glossy is referring to the cabinet/frame. The screen itself is matte which I don't have a problem with. Figured I'd put that in there in case everyone just read the reviews instead of the details of product.

Contrast is nice. Brilliant colors and easy to change settings. For the price, you can't beat this monitor. Gotta love newegg

Satisfied Customer

Some might say that the base of this monitor is cheaply made and flimsy but I do not agree. As long as you don't use a cardboard box as a computer desk then you won't have any problems.

Sleek design and nice packaging. The color brilliance/contrast and build of this monitor is exceptional. It's a Samsung so what do you expect

None for me

Great for movies; not so great for documents

This wide screen would be ideal, I'm sure, for watching movies. However, it isn't tall enough for effective viewing of documents and spreadsheets. I had no problems getting it set up. It was pretty much just plug and play. For the price it's a good value.

I love them Samsung panels

Didn't need speakers, have a really nice set already, so why add a tinny sound to what I already have?

Quite a nice monitor for the price. I'm impressed by the evenness of the backlighting. Bought as a replacement for a very old 17" 4:3 panel

No height adjustment, but it does tilt, although the tilt on mine is a bit stiff. You want a bit of stiffness so that the monitor doesn't sag, but it feels like I might break the panel when I try to tilt it. Put a matchbook under the stand instead
