My eyes! The goggles do nothing!

 

Just plugged it in and Windows 7 64 recognized it and adjusted the resolution automatically to 1920 x 1080. Not sure you can see it in the pictures, but the screen is actually inset .25 inches/0.635 centimeters from the outer bezel.

I've only had this thing an hour, and it is the finest monitor that I have ever owned. It's huge, bright, and non-reflective ; There is a window directly behind my desk that shines mind-blasting sunlight all day long. For years I've had to use screen...

The base DOES adjust, you just have to wrestle it a little bit. It rotates/slides at the point where the base and monitor join ; Don't know if I trust the "starlight touch" buttons. They are way sexy, but are they as reliable as good old clunky...

If you decide to use the hdmi for a pc connection you need to change the "mode" of it to pc or pc-dvi otherwise it does not look great for desktop graphics (menu->input->edit name). Have had this for about 8 months and it has been very stable so...

First Rate Monitor/TV

 

NewEgg's service was outstanding as usual, definitely five egg's.

Very Good TV (not at the level of the Samsung LED TV's) and very good monitor. Monitor works well DVI to DVI. Samsung leads the way in TV/monitors. At the NewEgg price, I would recommend. This is my fourth Samsung TV or monitor. All are five egg's or more

Speakers are typical of built ins, the make noise, but I didn't buy this moniter for the speakers.

Awesome moniter. No dead pixels. Just needed minor tweaking of color settings, which is to be expected. Found local DTV stations with no problems and displayed HD content very well

Description claims that the stand is a tilt and swivel, it doesn't swivel. The moniter sits on the stand with nothing to hold it in place, no screws, clips or anything else except gravity to hold it in place

New monitor that arrived did not exhibit any of the previous monitors problems. Very satisfied with Newegg's speedy service and support.

Much bigger and brighter than my old BW226. MagicTune is very convenient and is one of the main reasons I chose Samsung again

First monitor arrived beat up, back side of the screen (where you mount the stand) popped open and needed to be snapped back on. Very serious light bleed especially where the LED controls are. Had a ton of dead/stuck pixels
