Samsung LS27D590PS

The Samsung LS27D590PS is a sharp-looking 27-inch monitor that displays inky blacks, robust colors, and wide viewing angles. It's not equipped with a lot of features, though, and it's a bit more expensive than competing models.

Stylish design. Solid performance. Dual HDMI inputs

Pricier than other monitors in its category. Limited feature set

The Samsung LS27D590PS ($329.99) is an elegantly designed 27-inch monitor based on Plane Line Switching (PLS) panel technology, which is Samsung's answer to the popular In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology developed by Hitachi and manufactured by LG....

Good quality sound but...

I was looking for an inexpensive 27" monitor with a thin bezel to use in a dual monitor setup. The SD590 (S27D590P) was a great choice. I was able to get mine locally (open box) for under $200 each. PICTURE QUALITY: Of course a 27" 1080p monitor is not...

Bright and sharp (after adjustments) ; Lots of adjustment options ; Sleek and beautifiul

No VESA mount holes ; VGA and HDMI only ; Port location ; No swivel or height adjustment

Disappointed

Price for sure. Large screen. Sleek design

I've owned this monitor for 5 months now and just found a burnt out pixel. I'm disappointed because I had grown fond of Samsung's quality monitors since my previous Samsung monitor lasted 8 years without any trouble, burnt out pixels, etc. Now I have a...

Worth every penny to me

I am very happy with the quality and features that these monitors offer. I have only owned them for a short time but so far I and glad I did this upgrade. Worth every penny to me

I bought three of these monitors during one of Newegg’s many sales. At full price, maybe I would think twice but I am very happy so far. In my opinion, the colors are bright and true, construction seems above average, and I find the overall design...

The monitor is operated using a small joystick located in the back. It is taking some getting used to and I find it strange. I have the same issue with all three monitors so I have to assume some of what I think is unusual was intentional. The monitor...

Samsung S27D590

I was debating if I wanted to replace this monitor or get a refund I decided on the refund and I'm going to try the Acer H276HL, the thing is I'm going to miss the stand on this monitor and I'm probably not going to get colors as accurate even though...

First and foremost the colors, I’m really picky about this one and imo Samsung created one accurate budget monitor ; Speed 5ms, coming from an HDTV this monitor feels faster than my last monitor. I’m sure for the most intense first person gamer they...

Dead pixels which made me pretty angry it happen the first day I got the monitor ; When gaming or watching something on this monitor the screen is too washed out or dark around the edges it’s really bad, it only happens when the game or video is in...

Horrible Experience

Maybe my old Samsung 2433BW was unusually high quality for its era, but I was severely disappointed with this PLS monitor. It has actually made me question the value of IPS at all. I certainly won't buy a Samsung again since I simply can't trust them...

The stand is quite stable. Also the rear control stick and UI work quite well

Everything else... The stand does not allow the monitor to be completely vertical, making it tilt back. The backlight bleeds through very badly, starting at the right and left edges and continuing 1/3 across the screen. My rather old Samsung 2433BW...

Great monitor

I would suggest getting this monitor, the only reason I gave it a 4/5 is that I think the ability to adjust the display is a useful feature.

Great display quality, easy to setup and no dead pixels at least on the one I got so far

The only thing I see wrong with this monitor is that you can't adjust it into vertical viewing. The screen is tilted back about 20 degrees and it can't be adjusted. Doesn't really affect usage though at all, just takes getting use to
