The Samsung SyncMaster 172N doesn't provide any revolutionary features, but its standout image quality makes it a good choice for home and small offices.

I liked the size and the price alot. But the way it can go on the wall and the tilt was the frist thing I liked about it.

I would have liked to have had some key board lighting put on it, thats would have made it a full five stars for me.

My first LCD monitor. Awesome detail in the picture. Looks great on the desk. I highly reccomend this one.

You can't raise and lower the screen. Only tilt it front to back.

Sharpness, clarity, and color are amazing if your going from CRT to LCD, The picture is clean and color is great. Its like a floating picture and the theres no glare on the screen from overhead lighting, presets are nice and easy to acess

No digital hook up, software and driver support minimal, would be nice to have pnp could us a hub, nice if it came w/ a wall mount
