I bought this monitor in Sept. 2006 and thought it was wonderful. Later bought two Samsung TVs. But after 2 years, it developed a constant flicker problem (Google Samsung 204B flicker problem for yourself) and it would not stop
The flicker problem is caused by 3 defective capacitors in the power supply. CHEAP chinese capacitors cause the monitor to flicker constantly and eventually QUIT. I was lucky, mine was in the last 2 months of the warranty. DONT BUY IT - ITS JUNK
I would try another brand for quality issues.
Nice, versatile monitor that does fit nicely with a multiple monitor situation. I have four hooked up together on one pc and they do fit together nicely with little space between them (the edge of monitor is 1/2" passed the lcd).
So far, of four monitors, three have broken or died. Samsung has replaced them with refurbished but the screens start to go dark or not turn on at all in time. Three have broken within the first three years (out of four).
