Nice BIG monster

I'm very happy to have this,

I have this big monster and i love it ; It supports to very high resolution wich 1920x1200 so better for PC gaming and watching HD blue ray movies ; It shipped with both DVI and VGA cable so i didn't buy any adapter to connect the monitor to my VGA

Nice picture but lines appeared, bad customer service

Nice monitor if you get one that works. If it doesn't good luck getting through to Samsung, they have no direct phone line to call and they don't seem to respond to emails.

Nice big monitor with plenty of real estate for pallets in page layout programs. Nice color and contrast

Odd placement of function buttons make navigating the menu a bit tricky. After only 2 months bright magenta, yellow & cyan lines appeared on the right side and more show up every few days. Our IT dept has tried to contact Samsung Support with no luck

Dead pixels on screen, about 3" wide vertical line within a month of using.

WoW A+++++++++++

Beautiful All New Design With a cool larger Blue light @ the bottom & HD through DVI 1080P uses 1/2 the power & lighter & cheaper of the older models +20,000 Dynamic contrast ratio the others have 3000-5000 $350 @ Sams & Costco Clubs

NO HDMI Port but thats how you get a good price

Warning: no Windows 7 drivers!

I've enjoyed this monitor for a while, but recently got a computer running Windows 7. The resolution options offered for the monitor are now all wrong. Photos are stretched very wide, etc.

Prone to failure

After two years, my 2233bw started flickering. I thought it was the driver. Spent months checking cables and settings, updating software, all to no avail. The flicker and scanning problems drove me crazy, and Samsung wouldn't help me out. I'll stay...

Great Monitor

This monitor plus a 21" Sony with a 8800GT card run EVERYTHING flawlessly. I can watch TV on one and surf the web on the other, or watch youtube videos as well. Playing games at the max resolution with no lag.

Resolution, color detail, gaming response, and overall general usage is top notch. This monitor has handled everything I have thrown at it and then some. I watch cable TV, dvd's, and power surf the web. Zero issues great buy wish I had 2 of them. I...

The install of the base was pretty scary. You have to push really firm to get it seated. You cannot play some games that require resolution change (Civilization)
