Good and Bad

The monitor is exactly as described: HDMI no, DVI yes, 1280x1024 max rez. It can be oriented horz or vert, so that's nice. It's a refurb that works. A nice, cheap little second monitor for e-mail, docs, etc and it roughly matches my nice Samsung...

All the cons are limited to the packaging/refurb process. The monitor works fine...but, it came packaged in a huge box with a single air-bag in it, so it rattled around like a tic-tac during shipping. As a result, the bezel came off and the back...

The lesson: always thoroughly test refurbished products ASAP. Of course you would expect that NewEgg would do this (isn't that what 'refurbished' means?)

Cheap, adjustable

We bought 4 units for a customer. By the time we unboxed them we found that one had a bad backlight. Of course, NewEgg will not let us return it .

Opened to a broken monitor

It came fast, cheap, and had no visible wear

Not sure how this was ever shipped out. If someone certified it, they must haven't actually used it w./ a desktop computer. The pacakaging was extremely sparse when it comes to cushion. Not sure who thought one piece of bubble wrap on the screen and...

After 1st DOA, this one is fading

If these monitors are grade A I would not want to see any of their other grades. I knew I was taking a chance buying a refurb, but after receiving 2nd defective monitor I'm giving up.

RMA handled flawlessly

Top half of monitor is lit at about 1/3 brightness of lower half

Good Monitor but false advertising

Advertised as 1920x1080 but will not display correctly in this res. I bought this monitor because of this supported resolution only to be disappointed. Runs 1280x1024. Nothing else really wrong here.

Good crisp picture. 75 Hertz available as an option. Good stand for the monitor
