Exceptional monitor for the cost.

I don't use my monitor for watching movies. I use a plasma TV for that! This monitor has a much better 178�/178� viewing angle and an S-PVA panel verses the lesser TN panel. the pivot functionworks very well.

Check this out on the Samsung web site. The 943T (verses the other 943 Models) had the best specks for my purposes. I much prefer 4:3 aspect ratio. Check out the four way adjustable..hgt pvt swvl tlt... stand with usb ports. 1280x1024

I will want to upgrade my 5 year old computer and graphics card to benefit completely form all the features of the monitor

Outstanding monitor for word processing and web surfing

I bought this monitor for word processing and web surfing. I do alot of word processing and emailing, so crisp text is paramount. I do not play games so cannot attest to its capability in that regard, other than having read that its 25 ms response...

Great LCD Monitor

I bought this lcd monitor last week and this is one of the best monitors I have used. This monitor is MVA (8-bit) which is different than the standard TN (6-bit). The monitor displays true 8-bit 16 million colors and it does not need to do dithering...

Samsung 943T - hope it lasts

I've had the Samsung 943T 19" LCD monitor about a month. The display is excellent, with sharp text and good colors. I got it because my Samsung 173P lost power about a year-and-a-half out of the warranty period. The original 173P had to be replaced...
